Man Pleads Guilty to Throwing Wife Off Balcony

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City man pleaded guilty Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court to second-degree murder in the death of his wife.

Stanley Reimer, 52, admitted to throwing his wife, Criste, off the balcony of their 4th floor Plaza Point apartment in August 2007.

Court documents state Reimer, the former Nelson Atkins Art Museum accountant, told police he was experiencing extreme financial difficulties and could not care for his wife any longer. Criste had numerous health issues involving her brain and her legs. A caregiver told police Criste could barely walk.

He gave her the kiss of death and threw her off huh.....man I'm sure he had a sizable life insurance policy on her too.

He could've just divorced her so she could go on Medicaid and to a nursing home , what an asshole....probably has a gf somewheres....

There was a whole lot more to this story. This man isolated his wife from her family. Her sister wanted her to come live with them, they would have taken care of her. This guy is just a murderer, plain and simple.

That's what I figured too. The whole "putting her out of her misery due to not being able to support her" seemed superficial at best.

He doesn't look like the kindly sort who just couldn't bare to see her in pain. I hope that he gets the fuck beat out of him and ass raped every day in prison . So tough with a disabled woman, a pussy when it caomes to fighting grown ass men.
