Baby Girl Left to Freeze In Woods

A woman drove into a gravel pit in Frenchville, Maine in 1985, got out of her vehicle and proceeded to give birth to a baby girl. She then carried the living baby into the woods and left her there. It was extremely cold, and bootprints were observed frozen into the blood left on the ground. A Siberian Husky later found the infant and carried it home to it's owner. The infant died of exposure, and was not harmed by the Husky. The mother has never been located, and it is suspected she is from Canada.

WTF? I know it's the way they did it in the old days, but damn..I've had two kids and I cannot imagine being in a field, squatting and popping one out. I could hardly walk two days later, and that was with all the comforts of a hospital!

Add to that the mental faculties needed to plan this shit out, go through with it, neatly tuck (barf) your daughter in the freezing field, and then calmly getting into your car and driving away. For God's sake, the dog took better care of that baby more than it's mother did.

It surprises me to say that people still manage to just fucking amaze me.

The image on that is so sad. How is it that women who decide they don't want the baby they are carrying, manage to have it with seemingly little effort. I near died having my first...just fucking unbelievable...she walks off like she just took a dump in the woods and left it behind like shit.

That dog is amazing. I wish he'd found the baby sooner...alive, would have made for a very nice and happy ending.

Sweet baby girl, all you knew for months on end was the warmth of your incubator's body...only to find as you were birthed, a very cold world with a face you should have known as mama.

I'll give you what should have been yours...a name...Rosangela.
