Guess it's time....

....to tell a little about myself.

I've been reading and (rarely) posting for a while, but since I had a 'posting marathon' the other night in the Reality Bites forum, I guess I should give a bit of personal info.

I live in Nashville and New Orleans. Female, 46 years old (and feel it every day). I live with Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is an unfunny cosmic joke to play on a musician. I have two sons, 14 and 20. One teaches at Ft Benning, GA, and one's got blond hair down to his ass. Go figure.

I'm a muscian and mixed media artist. I'm a-bleeding-heart-Marxist-Pagan, whatever that means. I have way too many useless college degrees. My language is rough, but I don't intend to offend anyone. It's just that the word 'fuck' when used as an adjective, is my favorite word in the whole world. (I don't use it in front of my mother.) Flawed_Existence is a backwards phrase from a Nine Inch Nails song. Both the name and the song pretty much sum up my philosophy of life. Trent Reznor and Maynard James Keenan are the twin gods in my universe.

Please understand though, I do not intend to disrespect anyone else's belief system. I have a huge grudge against the Christian God, but that's between me and Him.

I'm also REAL wordy and tend to favor complex-compound sentences. I think it's partly my Southern heritage (we're all storytellers down here), and all of those college term papers I had to write. Shit, you've gotta' get 5000 words from somewhere!

About your favorite adjective... it sure does have a lot of endings-like en, er,ers, ed, ing, and follow-ups, like ----me, up, you, that, etc... LOL
