A Taylor County grand jury on Thursday indicted a Fort Worth couple accused of sexually abusing the man's young daughter during a period when the three lived in Abilene.

Kimberly Ann Pursley and William Hardee Pursley Jr. face three counts each of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child. The Pursleys lived in Abilene from 2003 to 2007, according to court documents.

They are accused of abusing William Pursley's daughter, who told investigators that the abuse had been going on for as long as she can remember, the documents showed.

The couple have been held at the Taylor County Jail since being arrested Aug. 5 in Mansfield, said Sgt. John Cummins, a spokesman for the Taylor County Sheriff's Office, which investigated the case.

Each also is facing several unrelated misdemeanor charges, including theft charges. Bail for Kimberly Pursley has been set at $79,000 and bail for her husband has been set at $77,500.

Damn, thats one big woman. I just dont trust myspace moms who never put picts of there kids on thier Myspace page and especially ones who post there favorite TV shows as C.S.I and dicovery forensic shows.

BIlls Myspace page has a photo's of both the girls, Looks like the 9 year old was the one who told about the abuse. That would make her 4 to 8 when the abuse took place. Maybe not, the picts were from 2006, its hard to tell what age she was and its not being reported.

I did a search on the site of the original news source. This came up from June 2010:

The case against a former Abilene woman accused of sexual assault of a child was dismissed Monday, but officials at the Taylor County District Attorney’s office say it could be prosecuted in federal courts.

Kimberly Pursley, 33, was indicted in November in the sexual assault of a then-10-year-old girl who is a relative. The victim is now 13.

Assistant District Attorney Sam Carroll said he has made the case available to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office in Lubbock.

In April, Judge John Weeks declared a mistrial in the Pursley case. She was standing trial for aggravated sexual assault of a child. Pursley was declared not guilty on a lesser charged of indecency with a child.

Mistrial was declared because jurors could not come to a unanimous verdict. No word on when his trial is scheduled for.

huh, must've been pretty flimsy if they dismissed it. normally if there's a mistrial you just have to start over again at a later date.
