Collier County, FL -
A man upset about a radio-controlled plane flying over his house was arrested for allegedly punching the plane's owner and stole the plane's transmitter.

Arrest reports say 55-year-old Stephen Young of Port Orange Way in Golden Gate Estates, was walking his dog outside his home when he noticed a red model airplane flying over his house.

Young got into his car with his dog and drove to the Collier County fairgrounds where members of a local flying club were flying radio-controlled planes.

At the fairgrounds, Young located the red airplane, grabbed the plane's transmitter and put it in the trunk of his car.

The owner of the plane, 68-year-old William D'Amico, approached Young and asked for his transmitter back.

Deputies say D'Amico tried to take Young's car keys.

A struggle ensued and Young allegedly kicked D'Amico in the groin and punched him in the face.

Young was arrested and charged with grand theft and battery on a person over the age of 65.

Arrest reports say Young has had several incidents with the club which meets regularly at the fairgrounds.
