Diesel, Dog/Dingo Cross Saves 3 yo boy from Snake

Diesel was laying in the yard while 3 y.o. Drew Galike was playing on a swing with his grandfather nearby. When his grandfather looked his way, he saw a highly venomous brown snake in strike position and aiming for the boy.
But Diesel saw it too...leaping to the rescue the Dog/Dingo mix threw himself sideways between the boy and snake, catching the snake in mid air and sustaining the snake bit himself.
The little boy was fine, thanks to the quick and selfless actions of this brave dog. Diesel pulled through after he was rushed to an animal hospital and received 2 doses of antivenom. On November 14 Diesel was honoured by the RSPCA as their winner of the yearly Animal Achievement Award.
