    52-year-old man arrested after beating his 72-year-old girlfriend

    DELTONA, Fla. -- A 52-year-old Deltona man was arrested after beating his 72-year-old girlfriend with a weightlifting belt and a dumbbell, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

    Lin Pedro Fonteboa was arrested Thursday on charges of aggravated abuse of an elderly disabled adult and exploitation of the elderly.

    A deputy went to the woman's home on Tuesday after receiving a 911 call. She had several bruises on her body, including one on her leg that was 14 inches long and 6 inches wide, according to a Volusia County sheriff's report.
