    Carjacking ends with instant karma

Two people were killed today when a suspected stolen car crashed after a police chase on Interstate 35 in southwestern San Antonio.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says the pre-dawn chase started in Natalia when troopers tried to stop another suspected stolen vehicle and the other car interfered.

That car, with seven people inside, led a 22-mile chase on I-35 at speeds of up to 80 miles per hour. That ended when the car hit a guardrail at the State Highway 16 interchange and spun. Three passengers were ejected. Two of them died, while the other was hospitalized in critical condition.

Investigators say three other passengers fled on foot and jumped from a bridge onto Highway 16, breaking their legs in the 20-to-30-foot drop broke their legs.

Shame they didn't land on their heads and raise the body count.

    LoL, good one Unamused Cat.
Jump, jump, jump, AAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, 3 dumb ass's go splat.

Only one smart one in the bunch stayed in the van. He must have pooped his pants in the car chase and was to embarrased to run.

They named one of the dead guys:

One other man was flown to University Hospital in critical condition, where he later died. The medical examiner identified him as 18-year-old Omar Ibanez-Torres.

    **** UPDATE ****

Two more men have been charged with evading arrest following a Thursday morning police chase through two counties that ended on the South Side when a stolen vehicle crashed into a guardrail, killing two of seven passengers.
Felipe Chavez, 36, and Medina Torres, 56, were among five surviving passengers in a Toyota Avalon that police say was stolen in Houston last weekend and involved in a nearly 30-mile police pursuit on Interstate 35.

The two remained jailed Friday on $10,000 bonds each, officials said. Carlos Hernandez, 22, and Humberto Reyes, 19, also remained jailed Friday on the same charges and bonds after police say four of the five passengers from the stolen car reportedly bailed after it crashed.

Medical examiners on Thursday identified 18-year-old Omar Ibanez-Torres of Fort Worth as one of two people who died in the crash. The other person who died in the crash has not yet been identified pending notification of his family.

    Carlos Hernandez, 22, ( Jumper )
    Humberto Reyes, 19, ( Jumper )

    Omar Ibanez-Torres ( Dead )
    Unknown ( Dead)

Incase anyone feels sorry for these turd monkeys:
The driver of the Nissan pulled over in Medina County also was arrested, Trooper Travis Hall said. Both vehicles reportedly were stolen from the Houston area and used in aggravated robberies, he said

More updates for this : What a nice guy, after getting car jack by thugs with a sawed off shotgun he still felt sorry for them. I however do not feel the same way about it. How may lifes did theses crevice dwellers endanger on the freeway that day.?
I saw in the news the other day were a car jacker grabed the child out of the car seat and held it upside down by the leg , telling its mom to get out of the car or he was going to drop the baby. ::rolls eyes::

A car that crashed in San Antonio early today after a police chase, killing two of its seven occupants, had been stolen from its owner in a carjacking near his southwest Houston home.

Tom Price said today that he gave up his Toyota Avalon late Sunday after two men blocked him with their vehicle and one of them pointed a sawed-off shotgun in his face.

"It was an evil-looking thing," Price said. "I thought I was going to get blown away."

Price said the carjacking took place as he was returning home from work about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. He said a pickup truck suddenly pulled in behind him at the gate of his southwest Houston townhome community in the 3700 block of E. Ashford Villa Lane.

"It kind of blocked me in, lengthwise," Price said. "Right then and there, I knew something was wrong. I tried to get away, but I couldn't."

Two men got out of the pickup and approached, one positioning himself on the passenger side while the other motioned toward Price from the driver's side.

"He told me to unlock the door, but I wouldn't do it," Price said.

He finally was persuaded, however, when the man opened his jacket, pulled out a sawed-off shotgun and pointed it at him.

Price said he got out, twisting his knee when he tripped over a flowerbed beside the front gate. The two carjackers jumped into the Toyota and drove south on Dairy Ashford.

"I just couldn't believe it. It just happened so fast," Price said. "They were very professional — cool, calm and collected."

He said he reported the carjacking immediately and spoke Monday with a Houston police who told him that officers were "looking into it."

Police called Price about 7:30 a.m. today to tell him his car had been found.

"It was totaled and in San Antonio," he said.

Price said he learned about the police chase after speaking with a state trooper in San Antonio.

Even though he wasn't responsible, Price said he was horrified about the fatal crash involving his stolen car.

"I don't want anybody to be killed. I'm sorry about that," he said. "Those guys (the carjackers) were desperate. They really didn't care about anybody else."

Well they arent saying yet and have been going out of there way to not say they are or are not. And the family of the other dead guy still hasnt been notified. That leeds me to believe that ICE will be waiting for them as soon as they get out of jail. This is a pretty common M.O. for non citizens of a country that is to the south of Texas, to come here, jack a car and bring it back to the formentioned country. These car jackers were even heading the correct way. Even if they were citizens chances are good the car would have ended up in some were south of the border anyways.
