Hanford Police have arrested David Hawk for the murder of his ex-wife Debbie Hawk. Debbie Hawk disappeared in June of 2006. David Hawk was named a person of interest and eventually named a suspect in the case, but was never arrested for the murder until today.

Although police say Debbie Hawk was murdered, her body has never been found.

Dave Hawk was arrested during a traffic stop as he was going to pick up his children at school. He was booked into the Kings County Jail on one count of murder.

A jury has found David Hawk, 51, guilty of first degree murder, with the special circumstance of murder for financial gain.

Debbie Hawk's body has never been found.

The jury also found Hawk guilty of ten financial crimes.

They include tax evasion, embezzling money from his kids' trust funds, and perjury.

"We the jury find the defendant David Martin Hawk guilty of the murder of Debbie Hawk."

And with that verdict, on this 28th day of August, nearly 12-hundred days since the dissapearance of his ex-wife Debbie... Dave Hawk is convicted for her murder.

We the jury find it to be true that the murder of Debbie Hawk was intentionally and was carried out for financial gain.

Hawk showed no emotion as the guilty verdicts were read one after another.

Allowed as evidence was a stun gun bought by David Hawk, the Prosecutors believe that's what Hawk used to subdue, so as not to leave alot of blood or other signs of a struggle!
The judge did not allow testimony of Hawk being linked to Debbies divorce attorney, Kim Aguirre being shot! The day before Aguirre was to present information that Hawk had stolen from the childrens Trust funds!
