DARK ENTRIES - New Crime/Horror Graphic Novel

The author of the book I just reviewed, Ian Rankin, has a new graphic novel coming out Aug. 19th. If it is anywhere close to as good as his book, it will be fantastic.

Occult detective John Constantine has seen his share of strange things in his career, but nothing could prepare him for the horrors of…reality television. "Haunted Mansion" is currently the hottest show on tv, but when the macabre house actually starts attacking the contestants, Constantine is hired to be the ultimate mole. Locked inside with a cast of wannabe-celebrities, his every move being monitored by a deadly figure from his past, Constantine must figure out who (or what) is pulling the strings before he gets cancelled—permanently.

DARK ENTRIES is a classic locked-room mystery starring HELLBLAZER's John Constantine. Ian is joined in this graphic novel by Italian artist Werther Dell'Edera, the illustrator of a number of American comics – mostly notably Vertigo's LOVELESS.

Should be interesting. Will keep an eye out and report when I can.

Ohh sounds nice, I am a, on again, off again fan of "Constantine" (created by Alan Moore) I loved the last one I read, Hellblazer #257. They had a sneak preview of "DARK ENTRIES" in that issue. I am a fan of Werther Dell'Edera. Not so sure about his work in this though, I think I am spoiled by how John was drawn by other artists.

Here is a partial scan of one of the pannels.
