Once Upon a Time I went to BC

Please note the following was written while I was still in BC, so although it may make no sense now, it did then...
Into the river belooowwww, I'm running from the inferno! They'll think I'm insane, but you'll all know my name...
Ahh sorry, listening to a song by Billy Talent... I'm currently sitting in the middle of nowhere, or at least as close to it as I've ever been. I guess technically I'm laying since I'm going to bed shortly. I want to steal these sheets, they're so damned comfy... where was I?
I'm on the first main leg of my great Canadian vacay, just arrived at Point No Point Resort, and I'm not sure I ever want to leave. I could make with some internet access though, and maybe a tv. I've rented the Jacob's Creek cabin and although it has no tv, and no internet (No TV and no Intarwebs make DG... something something) but on the other hand, I'd say the secluded hot tub on the cabin's deck looking out onto the ocean below (and in the perfect spot to watch the sunset) MORE than makes up for it.
My hair is wet from sitting in a hot tub while looking at the stars and listening to the sound of the ocean waves crashing onto the rocks far below my cabin, earlier we watched the sun go down over the water. Then we came back in and watched Robot Chicken in front of the wood fireplace. I`m back in bed now for the second of 4 nights here and I can still hear the waves crashing and the fire crackling as it slowly burns out. If it weren`t for the roof I can barely make out of the only cabin next to us, you wouldn`t know there was anyone else here, you certainly can`t hear them.
Yes I feed on your hate...
On the other hand, I may be brain damaged due to repeatedly slamming my head into one of the rafters above the bed. See, the bed is in a small loft over the living area, and I can only stand straight up if I`m standing in the very middle, Josh isn`t so lucky. The sad thing is that most of the impacts were immediately following the exclamation, `Hey! I remembered to duck this time!`, after which you slam your head into the very next rafter. Oh yes, and I also may be missing my left ankle before the trip is through, its a set of small metal spiral stairs up to the loft, and if you accidentally step on to the thin part you end up scraping the back of your ankle hard against the bottom of the step.
Part 2, Whistler, or, Where the hell did all these Aussies come from??
Dear Australia and New Zealand,
If you're missing half of your population, I believe I have found them. They all seemed to have moved to Whistler. The only things here that outnumbers them are trees... They're everywhere...They work here, and they're most of the tourists
I really didn't plan on coming to Whistler, but its Josh's idea of heaven so, here I am. I get to go drive a golf cart around for a couple hours in a bit, I like to pretend I'm his caddy and just suggest clubs at random. He doesn't seem to appreciate that... Every so often I get the right one on accident, and then pretend I knew what I was doing.
Part 3, The Last Leg
So I've reached the final portion of my BC vacation and I've arrived in Toro... I mean Vancouver. Sorry, I got confused by the bums, rude crowds and brainless pedestrians. I'm staying at the Hyatt Regency, sounds more impressive than it has so far been. Perhaps if I hadn't booked through hotwire for half the normal price I'd have had better service? We got in at about 6:50, checked in through an automatic teller like thing. The room we were assigned hadn't been cleaned yet. We went out today, came back and the room had been fixed, hurrah, except that my headphones had also been ripped out of my laptop, but the jack itself was still plugged in. Good times... good times.
We went out for dinner tonight to The White Spot, which for some reason makes me think of Monica Lewinsky's dress. It was fabulous, assuming you really enjoy the taste of play-doe, and incredibly bad bellinis. The best thing I can say is that the turkey was edible.
Can I go back to Whistler now? or Victoria? or home?
