His name is Sir Phineas Rhacodactyl (Thanks Twang!) He's currently the only one in my house not freezing his tail off... and not only because he's lost his...



I've always loved reptiles, and I'd been meaning to get one for quite a while, but it just never came together. So, after much research on good beginner lizards I decided on a Crested Gecko. They need very little to no excess heat, they're very calm, even when/if they do bite, its like getting a clothes pin stuck to you. (We were having a disagreement as to his deciding to make my sleeve his new home, I think he won.)

    Holy crap, that is impressive. What kind is he? or she, as the case may have it? The crested is a relatively new addition to petdom, one site says they have an average lifespan of 10 years, another one says 15, and most say they aren't sure yet. I'm hoping for the longer span...

    No accent... he does chirp though...

    I bet you'd hate the pizzaville ads that ran on the radio here all the damned time a few years ago blathering on about it being a rainy day in pizzaville in a bad cockney accent... made me want to punch myself in the face until i was knocked out...
