TMS' new job in NYC Day 3

My boss took pity on me and said I can leave 15 min early to take the express train home. I know this is going to sound like it doesn't make sense but that 15 min (when done without fucking up) gets me home an hour earlier. So now I am looking at a 12 hour day total - which includes commute.

You read that right, I did the subway thing perfectly, even skipped the Q (express) to wait for a local to see what train to Trenton I could catch if forced to take a local subway line to get close to Penn Station. If I can catch the Q, I may be able to catch an even earlier train.

Today was the start of training. It was amazing. These people have a ton to teach me. The boss #2 fucked off today LOL. He decided he wanted to work from home and its only day 3 of "everybody works in the office 5 days a week" policy. Boss #1 is NOT HAPPY about it. I have my first assignment. Tomorrow will be interesting.

    Boss #1 is not happy about it, but Boss #1 won't do SHIT ABOUT IT, and is mostly not happy about it, because he's got to make sure he can't let everyone know that Boss #2's behavior is okay...but at the end of the day, Boss #2 says fuck anyone with a problem with it, and that's the way it rolls. You new guys just have to be scared, because Boss #1 is NOT HAPPY about it, and believe that if you even attempt to do the same, you're out...which of course...since you're neither Boss #1 OR #2, you ARE.

    You're doing it! I hope the rat race part is balanced out by enjoying the work & the financial rewards.
    Have you found a way to amuse yourself during the commute yet?
