Its time I get to know the candidates a lot more. I know virtually nothing of Ron Paul, but heres a story, because I know a few fans of him.

Eh....

"With a surging online fundraising operation that netted a record $4 million in a single day, GOP presidential contender Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) now has the monetary muscle to make some substantial upgrades to his tiny campaign organization -- but he doesn't plan to tinker with a successful formula, a DC newspaper reports."

And THAT'S why I want this man running the country. You don't spend money simply because you have it to spend...You spend it when you NEED to. Our deficit is growing like a downhill snowball because we continue with unnecessary spending.

:::Imagine an America with lower taxes because we stop spending like we stole daddy's credit card:::

Nice, isn't it? :p

I don't know much about Paul. What is his view on the southern border? I am conservative but against the war on drugs.

I am pro life but that is not an issue for me when voting. I am also pro death penalty.

I am a gun toting chick, lol, that IS an issue for me however. :D

I would like to know more about Ron. THX ;)

He supports massive immigration reform, deportation of illegal immigrants and visa cheats, no birthright citizenship, and no social support programs for them (or anybody else).

His is against the war on drugs, because he realizes that it is an unjustified abuse of governmental power. And, as I recall, he supports legalizing said substances, as well as abolishing the FDA.

He sees abortion rights as an issue for states to decide on an individual basis.

As per the death penalty, he is opposed to it because of past mistakes that have been made with falsely accused people getting executed for nothing they themselves did.

Finally, as per gun control, he is one of the only candidates to uphold the second amendment in several decades. The NRA has given him an A for his congressional voting record.

I am more for Ron Paul than anyone else so far. He is really popular here in SW MO. No one here likes Obama or HIllary. THe bad thing is that he is getting very little on air time and when I have seen him on there the newscaster is trying to make him look stupid. SW MO would be half empty if they deport the illegals and the anchor babies, as that is over half of our population. One town, Monett has been nicknamed Monexico for that reason alone. If he is for clearing them out, I am for him.
