Ok, so it didn't end up being the next best thing. But still, out of all its faults, they got the looting and upgrading right. It really does remind me a shitload of Diablo.
Anyway, for those of you playing, I figured I would start this thread to introduce your characters and brag about whatever uber-loot you may have come across or created yourself. Personally, I chose a class I have never played before...the Engineer. He is only level 8 at the moment, but holding is own with support from his drones and a favorite gun. No real uber items yet, but the modded rifle I use chews through demons like no body's business.
