Florida Woman Arrested For Taking Baby
Saturday, November 8, 2008
PORTLAND, Ore. -- A Florida woman was arrested in Oregon on charges of taking her 4-month-old daughter out of state custody despite a judge's order.
The U.S. Marshals Service said 20-year-old Brandi Lynn Baggett was arrested Friday night at the Lloyd Center Mall in Portland on a felony warrant from Florida.
Florida authorities said Baggett had taken her daughter from the Florida Department of Children and Families Custody Center in Orlando on Oct. 29.
The abduction of the baby was posted on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's Web site.
Baggett was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center in Portland. The baby did not appear to be harmed and was transferred to the care of the Oregon Department of Human Services.
How the hell did she leave the DCFC without being seen?
