Police Find Boy Who Was Missing For 4 Days

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A boy missing four days was found in a West Palm Beach McDonald's after someone recognized his picture from the news and called police.
Police say 8-year-old Jonathan Thomas didn't know they were looking for him. When an officer approached him in the restaurant with a newspaper, he pointed at the picture and said, "That's me!"
Thomas was taken from school Tuesday by his mentally ill mother, who had lost custody.
He said he stayed a while at his grandmother's home and slept one night in a car. Thomas was unharmed, but hadn't showered in days and was very hungry. He ate two regular-sized adult breakfasts in the restaurant.
Thomas said he was excited to get home, get some rest and get back to his homework.
