Yeah, the trailer looks great too, but for some reason my original post isn't showing it.

You get to see all the cool shit! I'm probably going to have to wait until this hits region 1 DVD before watching it.

Woah, I hadn't even heard of this movie before now, but it looks seriously cool. Can't wait to check it out.
ETA: I just found it playing at the local indie/foreign film theatre! Looks like my daughter and I have a hot date to see it this evening.

Nah, man. I just missed it screening last week. But, it might be running this week too. If so, I'm there on Thursday!

My daughter and I just got back from seeing this film. It's fucking amazing. Definitely not for the ADD generation, it moves somewhat slowly and the tale unfolds in its own good time. But when it does, wow! This movie knocked my fucking socks off. It was surprisingly a very sweet film, the friendship between the two main characters is just perfect. But that does not mean it skimps on scares! The ending was probably one of the most satisfying endings I've seen in a long time.
Don't miss this one.

Let the Right One In has been causing quite a buzz in the horror market overseas. The Swedish film is full of many story elements missing from modern horror. Character development, powerful story-telling, solid acting, beautiful cinematography and violence where violence is needed are only some of the things that make Let the Right One In stand above many of its modern day counterparts. I’ve heard some amazing things about this little film, so my hopes were high going into the theater. Well, I was not let down. Let the Right One In is probably one of the best films I’ve seen this year, and it deserves everything that’s been said about it.

Mikey, loved your review. Glad you enjoyed it so much! I have a feeling this one will go along with The Orphanage as one of the newer horror classics.

After more thought...Let the Right One in is my favorite horror film since 1990. Wow!
Funny thing. The new Beverly is looking into doing a double feature of this and The Orphanage because I wouldn't shut up about them. ;)
You're Cali, I know it'd be a drive but it'd be worth it.

Dude! If they do, let me know! I know my daughter and I would totally be up for a field trip. That's fucking awesome and a half!

Will do. I'm trying to be there on Saturday for Naked Lunch and Existanz. Croenenberg for the win!

This is certainly one of the best movies of the year. I'm only bummed out that I didn't see it in the theater, instead I saw I saw it on my computer(can I say that?). I didn't know it was coming to the big screen here. I wouldn't categorize it as a horror movie, but it a great film anyhow.
The Europeans are crushing the competition when it comes to films lately.
I don't even like vampires....

Ah, that sucks that you had to see it on the computer. I classify it as a horror film as much as Jaws is a horror film. It's more drama w/ horror elements.
Agreed on the European thing.
Well, to their credit. The vampires usually end up looking like bitches. ;)
(But, the girl in the film was fantastic)
