David O. Liskany

XENIA — A 39-year-old father has admitted he used a dog shock collar on his sons and threw his 4-year-old daughter into a backyard pool as forms of discipline during a period of chastisement a law officer said made them prisoners in their own home.

David O. Liskany of Jamestown pleaded guilty Monday, Oct. 27, in Greene County Common Pleas Court to felonious assault and attempted felonious assault in a deal that cuts what could have been a sentence of up to 21 years to a 4-year stretch in prison.

"This was the worst child abuse case I've seen in 18 years," county sheriff's Capt. Eric Spicer said. "He used that dog collar as a form of punishment, as a form of intimidation. He would sometimes just point to it and cause the kids to be in fear of the experiences they had already had."

Spicer said the abuse had been ongoing with the children — now ages 14, 12 and 5 — since 2006 and 2007.

"Water was used to give these young children that fearful experience of not being able to breathe" Spicer said. "That was one of the ways he would discipline them. And he would also verbally remind them that this was an option if they didn't toe the line as he saw it. ... From everything that we did in our investigation, we believe that (the children) were literally prisoners in their own home."

Liskany, convicted of child endangering in Lebanon in 2000, will be sentenced Dec. 22. He and his attorney, L. Patrick Mulligan, declined comment.

Spicer said the investigation began in December 2007, when the oldest child walked for two days to reach a family member he thought could help. The children were placed with Children's Services when their father was arrested.

I saw we put the shock collar on rim, run some wires with clamps to his balls, and throw him in the pool and activate the shock!!!!!!!! He can experience the two worst forms of death simultaneously.....and I just think his balls need to be tortured because....well, I'm a woman.

As a guy I must say...SICK FUCKING BASTARD...
I got a better idea.
We will attach a shock collar to him and solder wires (with him wearing it, mine heats up to 900 degrees :proud2:) and connect them to the nails we had just punctured him with from my nail gun, soldering them as well, and once the pain is almost gone, throw him in the pool and shock the hell out of him. For best results we will turn the water into salt water to increase conductivity. :hello:

Sincerely,
Your Residential Deadly Sin

All I can say is I pray those children get help....counseling NOW. Help. They need SUPPORT. Not brush it under the rug.

My dad used that discipline on me. Holding me under water until I thought I was going to die, throwing me in water...usually lakes etc. It's terrifying and ugly. To this day I am dead afraid of open water, especially at night. It took me years to able to shower, the water on my face sent me into a full on panic/fear mode. I had to take baths which was hard enough.

This story hits close to home.

I have been angry at my kids, wanted to punch them in the face angry. I didn't. I have two teenagers and have jacked one up against the wall and got in her smart ass face. I know, I know...bad, never loose your cool. Well I am human, but my point is even with that anger I never hit them and what kind of sadistic fuck comes up with this shit punishment? On preteens, anyway? Ha! So he cut a deal...THAT SUX. I am all for the pool and shock, but lets take it up a notch. Add rubbing alcohol to the pool and dump his freshly shaven razor burned electrode covered body into the pool! Fucker.

i've been thinking about a cat o'nine with control switch at the handle......wire cables in the 'fall' that have electricity running through them, with metal tips at the end, tie his sorry ass down and administer the lashing of his life, not only will it shred his flesh, he will be shocked every time the tails' end, touches that raw open flesh.. when we're satisfied he's had enough of a beating, let us then introduce some bleach to his open back....while we're at it, someone could castrate him the way they used to do it to bulls, to be certain he never fathers another child...AND, when the bleach causes him to pass into unconsciousness, wake him up with a healthy dose of cold salt water.. on the flayed skin of course... any more ideas to add to this?

Hell is too good for this sick fuck..

He was convicted of child endangering in 2000 but given another chance. How fucking SWEET! And NO one knew that this was going on? NO one kept an eye on him or checked on the children? Where was their mother?
God bless that oldest child for getting help. Walking for two days, exhausted, terrified no doubt. Very heroic.
Poor kids....may God protect them always. May they be plced with someone who can love them and care for them as they deserve. May they get the help and counseling that they so truly need to deal with this.
And this sick fuck plea bargained down to only 4 years....fucking shame. I hope that he gets some quality time with Bubba during those 4 years.
I DO like Michelle and ceisdsgils ideas as well as blue_zombies and Envys...I'd be willing to join in any or ALL... Hey, I'd thank you guys or at least give a good rep...but I've been so generous with the above that I'm all out....

Despite pleas from family members to keep him out of jail, the Paintersville man who admitted to using shock collars to discipline his children will spend 16 years in prison.

Judge J. Timothy Campbell said David Liskany had a Jekyll and Hyde-like personality that inflicted lifelong trauma on three of his four children.

"You have damaged your children for life," Campbell said. "You don't put shock collars on children."

Liskany pleaded guilty to two counts of felonious assault and one county of attempted felonious assault in October. He admitted to using the shock collar and scalding and frigid water to discipline the three oldest children.

The abuse came to investigators' attention when Liskany's teenage son was reported missing last year during a snowstorm. The boy walked nearly 20 miles over two days to a relative's home where he knew he'd be safe, said Sheriff's Capt. Eric Spicer.

Spicer described the long period of abuse endured by the Liskany children as the worst he had seen in his career. "No doubt about it," he said after the sentencing. "This was a prolonged period of abuse that was systematic."

Liskany also had a past conviction in Warren County for burning his child's feet with hot water, according to police.

Family members and Liskany's wife Wendy, who has filed for divorce, begged Campbell for leniency.

"I don't feel incarcerating him is going to help him," his wife said. "He does not pose a threat to society, he did pose a threat to my children at one point in time."

Wendy added that she would have a hard time supporting her children without David working and that the oldest boys were abused while in foster care.

Judge Campbell and investigators said Wendy shared some of the blame. "I certainly think she has some culpability," Spicer said. "The evidence is clear, she knew what was going on."http://www.daytondailynews.com/n/content/oh/story/news/local/2009/01/30/ddn013009liskanyweb.html

Fuck you Owd!

So happy he got 16 years. The first part I read it looked like it was only going to be 4 years. I'm glad someone pointed a finger at the mom in needing to share responsibility.

Ceffy, because i am endlessly nice and I know no one else will respond to you.

She said "fuck you" because Owd scammed alot of people on this site out of alot of money by claiming her son had leukemia. Go to general topics and look for the thread "My son is sick" by Owd Scrat. So yeah, even if that story above was true she probably deserved it.
