DEL CITY, Okla. -- Del City police are looking for a 2-year-old girl, taken by her father, who has allegedly threatened to harm her.

Police issued a missing endangered juvenile alert Monday morning for Hannah Quisenberry Drennan. In the alert, officers wrote that the girl is "in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death."

Capt. Jody Suit said the girl's father, Boyd Quisenberry, took his daughter from their home at 4000 Thomas Drive, north of Interstate 40, at about 10 a.m.

The girl's mother jumped on top of the car to stop him, police said, but fell off. Quisenberry was last seen heading north along Interstate 35.

Police said the girl was wearing only a pull-up diaper.

There is a video at the link, looks like the mom jumped on the car to try to save her daughter too. Go mom! If only it had stopped him. -.-'

A 2-year-old girl taken by her father this morning was returned safely to her mother shortly after nightfall, authorities said.

Hannah Quisenberry-Drennan was found with her father, Boyd Ray Quisenberry, 30, at a northeast Oklahoma City apartment complex about 7 p.m., Del City police detective Jody Suit said. Quisenberry took Hannah from her grandmother's house about 10 a.m. Monday.

The child was not harmed and Quisenberry was not arrested, but he was served with a protective order. He is not allowed to come near Hannah or her mother until he appears before a judge on the matter, Suit said.

Quisenberry and his wife are separated. The wife told police he's threatened to kill her and her mother, he said.

Wait a second....the dumb asses in Del City didn't arrest him? I'm pretty sure that if you don't STOP when someone is ON your fucking car and you keep going after they fall off, it's assualt.....
But then again, this is Oklahoma and Del City...good ole boy country is alive and well.....I know what they told the mom too..."It's a civil matter, we can't arrest him because he has the right to take off with her because he's the father. Get a VPO and then maybe we'll do something."
That poor poor baby was probably scared to death when he took off with her in the car...he probably didn't even have her in her carseat! Hopefully, due to her young age, she won't remember her mom and dad fighting......

DEL CITY, Okla. -- An Oklahoma father who took his daughter from a Del City house said he did it because he was desperate to see her.

VIDEO: Father Tells His Side of Story After Taking Daughter

Police put everyone on alert after Boyd Quisenberry took his daughter Hannah, 2, without permission on Monday.

Del City police said he didn't commit a crime and have no plans to pursue charges, but Quisenberry said he wants to go on record about why he did it.

"She disappeared. She wouldn't talk to me. She wouldn't answer the phone," Quisenberry said. "I couldn't talk to my kid. Then I finally see her and came to the doggy door and I just wanted to spend time with her, so I picked her up and we went to my car."

Quisenberry said he never intended to take Hannah from the house.

"I was just worried to death," he said. "I just had to go over there and check for myself. And she just came to the doggy door and that's just how it happened."

He said Hannah was happy to see him.

"She loves her Daddy," he said.

Del City police said Quisenberry has parental rights and that he and Hannah's mother are involved in a custody battle.

"I play with her all the time," he said, crying. "She needs me in her life. No matter what they say, I'm not going to be out of her life. I'm not going to stay out of her life."

Quisenberry said he cherishes the four hours he and Hannah had on Monday.

"We went to the zoo," he said. "We went to the park. We went and hung out with my friends and their two kids. We made dinner."

Quisenberry said he eventually called police because he didn't want anyone to worry. He said he hoped his daughter could hear his message to her.

"Hannah, if you can see me, Daddy loves you and I'm never going to stop loving you," he said. "I'll be thinking about you. I'll be praying to God that you're OK and you're in a safe place."

Hannah's mother said she had nothing more to say about the incident, which she considers a private family matter.

There's a video of Dad explaining why he basically kidnapped little Hannah from her Mom.....I guess the words, Victims Protective Order aren't in his vocabulary! Nice to see that he loves his daughter, but what I've seen with DV this is merely a way to terrorize the Mom into returning to him.

Thank you. I can't BELIEVE those ass-wipe cops REFUSED to arrest him! He has a significant history and the mother DID have reason to believe that he WOULD harm the child. In addition, he DID assault the mother when he drove off with HER on top of the hood. And, BTW, if she did not have good reason to believe that he would harm her child, I do not believe that she would have endangered herself that way.
And, in FOUR hours he managed to:
Get her some clothing (I presume)
Go to the park
AND to the zoo
AND go to a friends house to cook supper
WHOA, they saw more action than Paris Hilton does in a weekend AND managed to do it ALL in FOUR HOURS!
