As of Friday September 14th a case was filed against God almighty naming him in all names and accuses him of "making and continuing to make terroristic threats of grave harm to innumerable persons, including constituents of Plaintiff who Plaintiff has the duty to represent.", having caused “fearsome floods, egregious earthquakes, horrendous hurricanes, terrifying tornadoes, pestilential plagues, ferocious famines, devastating droughts, genocidal wars, birth defects, and the like.”, also being the principle instigator responsible for “calamitous catastrophes resulting in the wide-spread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth’s inhabitants including innocent babes, infants, children, the aged and infirm without mercy or distinction.” A Senator in Nebraska is making the case as a reprimand to the courts and public for being able to sue anyone due to a suit being filed against a judge in a sexual assault case after he barred Tory Bowen from using the words "rape" or "victim" in her testimony.

Now then just out of curiosty if he has publicly stated that his lawsuit is solely being made to make a mockery of the justice system and not a legit claim no matter how prettily worded shouldn't the case be thrown out?

Kind of hard to sue imaginary beings. Might as well sue Spider-Man....at least someone owns the rights.....

"The suit also requests that the court, given the peculiar circumstances of this case, waive personal service. It said that being omniscient, the plaintiff assumes God will have actual knowledge of the action."

i think spiderman might be next. why a senator wants to reduce the courts to something even more laughable then the previous frivilous lawsuits goes beyond me. i can't see his logic in this media stunt other than to garner himself personal attention. perhaps he is going to run for president... yet too i am curious, what he plans to do if the case proceeds and he wins. will His (god's) assets be seized? will His corporation, the church(s) be held responsible? it might be proposterous but the case wasnt dismissed, and he requested a summary judgement and to be appointed to a speedy trial date. he actually means, in this lawsuit to prevent natural disasters from happening... or what? i'm kinda curious the churches response to this. how is he even going to begin pleading his case, when there is clearly no physical evidence to provide definitive proof that god is responsible for all he lays at his feet?

the main issue here is a smoke screen to prevent a woman from invoking her right to dispute a court decision by the next means possible, aka a law suit. due to the coverage of this case the judge presiding declared a mistrial, on the grounds that there it had become impossible for them to pick an impartial jury to due to the coverage alotted this pending trial. something is a bit off as details of the "forbidden words" are not forth coming at this time. i personally am have a hard time reasoning this out as to why the word rape can not be used in a recitation of events if the "sex" was not consentual.

Wonder if it's a coincidence that this suit was filed on The Feast of the Exultation of the Holy Cross, (Sept. 14.)?

Considering that over half of the days of the calendar year have some religious significance to someone, probably not.

So many holidays to choose from. So many amalgams and inbred bastards of ancient traditions rolled into one big crap sandwich for the masses to chew from.
