A mother is behind bars. Her boyfriend is wanted by police and her 5-month old twins are recovering from a horrifying ordeal.

Prichard police say the twins were taken to USA Children's & Women's Hospital Tuesday night. Both of the little girl's legs and arms were broken. She also had two fractured vertebrae and three broken ribs. her brother had a broken leg, two broken ribs and cigarette burns on the bottom of his feet.

Wednesday afternoon, police arrested the twins mother, 25-year-old Marketa Sharpe. They're looking for her boyfriend, 28-year-old Larry West.

This is horrifying! I have 3 yr. old twin grandbabies and would KILL someone if they hurt them!

Do you even know how hard it is to break a child's bones? I found out when my youngest was 2 or 3. We were at the doctor's office and they had an automatic door that slid back when someone stepped on the mat. My son was standing near the building and I was about 3 feet away from him. Suddenly, as a man stepped on the mat - my son thrust his arm where the door was destined to end up after it opened!! IT GOT STUCK! My husband (who was IN the building) ran at the door and literally knocked it off it's frame! (we later found out the door is designed to do that - whew!)
We took our son inside and the doctor immediately x-rayed his hand, wrist and arm. NOTHING! He then informed us (while showing us on the x-ray) that a child's bones are not fully formed until later in life. He said that it is pretty hard to break a child's bones in the early years due to the flexibility and "incompleteness" of them.

So just IMAGINE how much force these fuckers had to use to break BOTH arms and BOTH legs of the little girl, 2 of her vertabrae and some ribs...along with breaking her brother's leg and 2 ribs! ANIMALS!!!

I pray these 2 are given the maximum sentence and never, ever allowed near children again! Somehow I doubt it tho... their bails are set pretty damn low! (25,000 for her) and (50,000 for him) Outrageous!

Marketa Sharpe has bonded out....
A mother accused in a horrific case of child abuse is out of jail. A Mobile County Judge reduced bond for Marketa Sharpe Tuesday from $50,000 to $15,000. Police say Sharpe's 5-month-old twins had broken arms, legs and ribs. West's bond was also reduced. He was still in jail Tuesday night.

This is a horrible story. Does anyone know if they are suffering from shaken baby syndrome or have head injuries? They are 5 months old, may they heal completely and go to loving homes. Poor babies.
