This case has a murder trial date set for 10/6/2008...I did not see it posted here on the DD so I thought I'd bring it the exposure it did not get in its early days.
It was on April, 28th, 2001, when officers came upon a small lifeless body in a trash bag. The small child had been decapitated...her remains discarded like trash. Days later, her head wrapped in a trash bag was found nearby where the body first was found. Officers unable to identify the body dubbed her, "Precious Doe".
A confession reveals that the stepfather Harrell Johnson kicked the little girl in the head when she refused to go to bed where she then lay withering in pain for 2 days. The piece of shit "mother", Michelle Johnson who did nothing to attend to her daughters injuries or take her to the hospital is already dead to me. After 2 long days, it appeared the little girl was dead being that she was no longer moving. At that time her body was taken and dumped in a wooded area near a church. It is there where the stepfather allegedly used hedge clippers to cut her head off...(sweet Jesus I'm glad she was dead when this occurred).
A missing child advocate, Alonzo Washington worked relentlessly for 4 yrs. to bring media exposure to this case. It is to his credit that a posting in a newspaper brought forth a man who after reading the add claimed he had not seen his granddaughter for several years. This is the break in the case that lead investigators to the identity of Precious Doe. Erica Michelle Maria Green was Precious Doe...The grandfather supplied photos that later confirmed the child's identity in May 2005. Because of Washington's valiant efforts Erica will not be forgotten.
Updated information reads, "Attorneys for a man accused of killing a 3-year-old girl once known only as “Precious Doe” are seeking to have the first-degree murder charge dismissed. The lawyers for 28-year-old Harrell Johnson, of Muskogee, Okla., say there is no case law to support a first-degree murder charge by omission. Jackson County prosecutors have said they plan to argue for the charge in Erica Green’s death based on Johnson’s alleged decision to not seek medical care for the child". "
The two bastard's were originally charged with second-degree felony murder and with endangering the welfare of a child..
The decapitating of this beautiful child is hard enough to imagine but the hardest part for me was the suffering this little one went through for 2 days as her mother and stepfather stood by and did nothing...
