A Maine mother is pleading for her estranged husband to return her missing daughters, who authorities believe could be en route to Alaska. Maine State Police are searching for Peter Perfect, 44, who they believe may be with his daughters, 6-year-old Aleah and two-year-old Amara, who were reported missing Monday after their father failed to drop them off at his estranged wife's house.

Jodie Perfect, the girls' mother, believes her daughters may be in danger, she told ABCNews.com.

"He has threatened to hurt all of us, but I never believed it," Perfect said.

Aleah and Amara were last seen at a Lincoln, Maine, church Sunday with their father, according to Maine State Police. He was supposed to drop his children off at his wife's home early Monday morning, but he never did.

Peter Perfect was served with divorce papers earlier this month.

LINCOLN (AP) -- Officials say the search is over for a Maine man who disappeared with his two young daughters on Sunday.

Public Safety Department spokesman Stephen McCausland says 44-year-old Peter Perfect of Carroll Plantation and the girls were found at a relative's home overnight in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He said the 2-year-old and 6-year-old girls are safe. Police had been looking for Perfect since he failed to drop his daughters off at his estranged wife's home after church on Sunday. Perfect was served with divorce papers this month.

Peter Perfect and his daughters were located late Wednesday night at Peter's brother's home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

We're told that all three are okay, and that the girls are now in the custody of that state's child welfare division.
