REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Redford police are investigating the disappearance of an 11-year-old girl.

Police said Angelique Stewart has been missing since Saturday, after last being seen at the Abundant Life Church on Grand River Avenue near 7 Mile Road around 9 p.m.

Police said she was returning from a retreat with a church group.
Police said this could be a runaway situation because it appears the girl walked away on her own.

Stewart was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shows. She was also carrying a burgundy sleeping bag.

Stewart is described as being 5 foot 6 inches and weighing 120 pounds.

Wow, 5' 6" and 120 lbs at age 11?!? She's a big kid! Definitely would appear significantly older/more developed than your average 11 year old. I sure hope she took off with friends...
