Casey Marie Anthony was being questioned Wednesday night by Orange County investigators and faces neglect charges -- over the whereabouts of daughter Caylee Marie Anthony.

Here's what deputies know so far:

Casey Marie Anthony told investigators that on June 9 she dropped Caylee off with a friend and babysitter "Zenaida" at a local apartment complex -- "The Sawgrass Apartments." Casey has since lost contact with her friend.

There was a delay in the reporting of this incident to the Sheriff’s Office. On July 15, the grandparents reported Caylee missing after confronting Casey regarding their granddaughter’s whereabouts and discovering she had not been seen by them or their daughter for well over a month.

Casey Marie Anthony is under arrest for Child Neglect and Providing False Information to Law Enforcement she is being questioned regarding this investigation and is not being sought, but the timeline regarding her whereabouts after June 9th is still of interest to investigators.

The Sheriff’s Office is trying to determine the whereabouts and well-being of Caylee. If you have seen Caylee and Casey together, or if you have seen Caylee Marie Anthony in the company of another since June 9, you can contact the Orange County Sheriff's Office or Crimeline at 1 800 423-8477.

Early Wednesday, Caylee's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, insisted her daughter call the Sheriff's Office. Now, detectives are asking for the public's help in finding Caylee -- and Gonzalez, who authorities think may not even exist.

A judge this morning denied Casey Marie Anthony bond, saying she showed "no regret or concern for her actions" following the disappearance of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony.

Despite Casey Anthony's lack of a criminal history, Orange County Judge John Jordan said no condition of release could protect the community from harm.

Casey Anthony, 22, just nodded as Jordan offered his comments.

"You left your 2-year-old child with a person who does not exist at an apartment you cannot identify and you lied to your parents about your child's whereabouts," Jordan said. "You cared so little about your child."

Jordan ordered that a mental health evaluation be conducted on Casey Anthony and that she have no unsupervised contact with a child under the age of 17.

The child hasn't been seen in more than a month, and her grandparents are worried. So are Orange County investigators.

When questioned by deputies, Anthony did not "show any obvious emotion as to the loss of her child. She did not cry or give any indication that she was legitimately worried about her child's safety," according to an arrest report. "She remained stoic and monotone during a majority of our contacts."

But her mother insists Anthony has been a good mom.

"And I could never dream she'd put her in harm's way," Cindy Anthony said.

Investigators are wading through a stack of information to try to come up with the truth. For instance:

*Allen, the child-abuse detective, said Anthony initially insisted she worked at Universal Studios and provided a phone extension and the name of her supervisor. All proved false, Allen said. In fact, Anthony was fired from the theme park in April 2006, according to the report.

*Anthony told investigators that Caylee's father is dead. They don't know whether that's true.

*Since Caylee's disappearance, two friends said Anthony told them her daughter was at theme parks or the beach with a nanny, according to investigators.

*Acquaintances describe Anthony as "a habitual liar" who stole checks and $700 from one woman, according to Anthony's arrest report. No charges have been filed.

Detectives spent the day talking with possible witnesses and following up on leads, Orange County Sheriff's Sgt. John Allen said at a 4 p.m. press conference.


"We can't compel (Casey Anthony) to give us more information," Lee said.

Authorities seized some "electronic equipment" today in hopes it will help in the investigation. They questioned Anthony at length on Wednesday but have not spoken to her today. She is being held in the Orange County Jail and refused media requests for interviews.


"At this point there is no indication that [Caylee] is deceased," Capt. Angelo Nieves said. "We don't know where she is. Our concern is for the child and to locate her."

Authorities have not issued an Amber Alert for the girl because the information they have does not meet the criteria, Nieves said. Detectives say they are challenged in the investigation because so much time has passed since she was last seen.


In early June, Casey Anthony told her mother she was being sent to Tampa for work and would be back in a few days, and later said she was going on a "mini-vacation" with friends. Cindy Anthony never thought much of it.

"I had no reason to believe they weren't where they were supposed to be," Cindy Anthony said. "I don't know why she fabricated this."


Detectives later located a woman named Gonzalez, but she did not recognize the mother or daughter from pictures.

Deputies showed Casey Anthony a picture of Gonzalez and she admitted not recognizing the woman.

She told deputies she worked at Universal Studios and named people who could vouch for her. When deputies drove her to the theme park, officials confirmed that neither she nor the people she mentioned worked for the park. Still, she "walked with purpose and acted like she knew where she was going," the sheriff's report shows.

Friends described Casey Anthony to deputies as a "habitual liar" who once stole $700 and checks from a friend. She also told a former boyfriend on June 25 that she would be free to get together because her daughter was "with the nanny and that they had gone to the beach for the weekend."


The family has set up four MySpace pages with the hopes of someone finding Caylee.

Many of Casey Anthony's friends and family maintain online pages and that includes Anthony's own mother, Cynthia. On her MySpace page, she describes intense love for her daughter and the missing granddaughter, but there's also evidence of the problems that crept into their relationship.

As news of Casey's arrest broke, Eyewitness News did some digging and found a number of photos of her out on the town on social networking sites. Little Caylee never appears in any of them.

Friends told Eyewitness News that Casey used several nannies to care for her daughter, but they weren't sure how she got the money to pay for them.

On the MySpace page set up by Cynthia Anthony, Casey's mother and the grandmother of the missing child, she lists her mood as "distraught." In one of her blog postings, she details the sometimes strained relationship she has with Casey.

"What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills," her blog posting reads.

According to more from that posting, Casey Anthony had also apparently criticized her mother for being too controlling and not giving her enough space.

Many of the online profiles have been closed off from pubic view since news of Caylee's disappearance broke. Casey Anthony's brother took control of his sister's MySpace page and it has been turned into a message board seeking tips about the girl's disappearance.

Sources have told WESH 2 News that K9s and crime scene investigators are at the scene digging near the family's home in East Orlando. Neighbors led investigators to the back yard and told them that they recently saw Anthony at the home without her parents.

Investigators also removed a shovel covered with a paper bag from a neighbor's home earlier on Thursday afternoon.


In addition to confiscating Anthony's computer, investigators said they plan to scour Anthony's car for any clues on the child's whereabouts.


Investigators said the best-case scenario at this point may be that the mother gave the child away or possibly even sold her.


Allen said the child's father has not been located, but many leads have come in.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The grandmother of a 2-year-old girl missing since early June said Monday the girl's mother, jailed after police said she failed to report the disappearance for more than a month, knows who has the toddler.

A lawyer for the Orlando girl's mother, Casey Anthony, said his client wants to help investigators and urged authorities to release her.

Anthony, 22, was arrested last week after telling authorities her daughter Caylee Marie Anthony had been missing since June 9. Casey Anthony was charged with child neglect and criminal obstruction for allegedly lying to detectives.

Her mother, Cindy Anthony, said Monday on NBC's "Today" her daughter should be released so she can help detectives.

"I know Casey knows who has her," she said. "I know Casey doesn't know where they're at right at the moment. But I don't know anything else right now because I can't speak to my daughter. And we're trying to get that changed very quickly."

Casey Anthony's lawyer, Jose Baez, said his client wants to cooperate with authorities.

"She is a good mother and has no history of being a bad mother," Baez said. "She wants to find her daughter."

Baez said Anthony doesn't know where the girl is, but he was sending investigators a letter pledging her cooperation.

Sheriff's officials say Anthony has repeatedly lied to them and showed little emotion or concern in interviews just before her arrest.

Orange County Sheriff's deputy Carlos Padilla said Baez hasn't returned detectives' calls to set up a meeting.

"The key lies in the mother, and we would hope the lawyer would allow the detectives to speak to her in his presence to find out exactly where this child is," Padilla said. "This lawyer has taken the time to take this to the media, but he's not yet returned the phone calls to discuss this."

Anthony is being held without bail and scheduled in court Tuesday.

Padilla urged the person who might have the girl but is worried about being prosecuted to drop her off at a hospital or law enforcement office.

Last week, investigators used cadaver-sniffing dogs and dug through Cindy Anthony's backyard looking for the toddler. Detectives say Casey Anthony asked a neighbor to borrow a shovel around the time her daughter went missing.

They said she contacted police last week because the girl's grandmother was concerned.

Anthony told detectives she didn't call authorities immediately because she was conducting her own investigation, according to the charging affidavit. The apartment where she said she dropped off the girl hadn't been occupied in months, and Casey Anthony gave detectives a bogus employer, manager's name and work telephone number, according to the affidavit.

Prosecutor:Missing Fla. girl may have been killed


ORLANDO, Fla.-Prosecutors said Tuesday that the case of a missing 2-year-old is beginning to look like a homicide, and her mother is a person of interest, though she has not been charged.

Casey Anthony does face charges connected with lying to investigators, and Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland set her bond at $500,000 Tuesday, saying the law did not allow him to hold the 22-year-old without bail.

He said he set the amount extraordinarily high because he was worried about evidence of human decomposition allegedly found in Anthony's yard and car. Her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony, has been missing since mid-June.

"Not a bit of useful information has been provided by Ms. Anthony as to the whereabouts of her daughter," Strickland said in ordering the bail. "And I would add that the truth and Ms. Anthony are strangers."

Sheriff's deputies said her car smelled of decomposition, and a cadaver-trained German Shepherd noted a smell of human remains in the car and her yard. They said they found a stain, dirt and what seemed to be piece of Caylee's hair in Anthony's trunk.

Let me state at the outset: I've believed from the get-go that Caylee is dead. As far as I'm concerned, it's all a matter of how and why and where is her body.


They said they found a stain, dirt and what seemed to be piece of Caylee's hair in Anthony's trunk.

However, I just want to point out that this isn't a lot. I promise, there's dirt and hair in my trunk, along with a lot of other questionable items (see FP Tim Placko story for more on crazy shit in the trunk). Yeah, the smell of decomp is something, but I don't know if a scent alone will carry much weight in court. I foster, and I have animals die, and sometimes I don't get them back for burial/cremation immediately. I can see there being some decomp issues around my property.

I know the cops are working their asses off on this, and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they're able to find enough pieces to put this puzzle together. With all her lies, Mommy has scared me from Day 1, and now Grandma's kinda creepin' me out, too.

I feel it has reached the top of the heap in view count. I say that because I believe the view count on the Alisha Dean story is inaccurate (JMO). There are far too few comments on that story for the number of views cited. It looks as if someone sat for two days pressing the refresh button on that story. None of that will matter in a day or so anyway because this story will pass it like it is standing still (which it is BTW).

One of the things that makes this site so...addictive...and maddening...is the fact that members are expected to be adults and thus are rarely policed by admins. (In fact, I was shocked that Morbid felt compelled to step in on the Caylee thread on the front page.) Say what you want about particular members, but please don't start slamming the site, unless you believe admin is responsible for making us "behave" (and I don't think you do).

There is a reason people were admonished to STFU about things not on topic. I know this will come as a complete shock to you, but it had nothing to do with you.

As you may note, the site is performing better, but still seeing high demand.

Now, since you are new here, you are not aware that the banning reference is a running joke around here.

Personally, I can see why a newcomer would get very confused about what goes on here.

I spent the better part of several weeks reading front page articles and comments, as well as the forums before I joined. The personalities and relationships here became very clear and I quickly learned it was all good even when it seemed ugly. The running gags soon became clear. I absolutely knew what I was getting into when I signed up.

In addition to the mission of the site, I loved the irrelevant and irreverent banter. But I would have been caught off guard if I had just confined myself to one thread and not paid attention to where I was. I'm betting that some of the Caylee newbies would be mortified and offended by the fuck you Jesus on the About page and run away screaming.

Jeanne, some of your posts are so thoughtful and articulate, and they make me think you'd be a perfect addition to DD. Others are self-indulgent and obstreperous. As for Caylee, the thing that's getting me about the ever-wilder theories on the front page is that, bottom line: Casey Anthony is spoiled, lazy, and not all-too-bright. She's a loser by any measure. The idea that there's some ring of national or international intrique (including Blackwater agents, etc.) is just laughable.

But with no new news to grab onto, people are grasping as all sorts of coded messages and unspoken subtext. LOL.

At the end of the day, she is an irresponsible party-girl, who steals from friends and family, and does what she wants, when she wants: consequences be damned. Whether she murdered her child, or allowed her to die by neglect is really of no concern to me. Either scenario is a million times less far-fetched than to believe in some great conspiracy or alien abduction or coded myspace page messages.

In the meantime, I thought I'd report that all major news outlets (CNN, Fox, some local outlets like channel 6) are now reporting that charges HAVE been officially filed -- there was some question earlier whether it had happened or would happen. Edit: I think it's fixed, at least for the moment. Casey has been jailed since mid-July. Last week, the State Attorney's Office filed against Casey formal charges of child neglect, a felony, and filing a false statement, a misdemeanor.

I tend to agree with you but don't think it would "hold".

I don't think the Anthony's are all that rich. They are far from poor, but not wealthy. As whacked as the senior Anthony's seem, I don't think they would loose tons of money to protect her... assuming they actually believe her cockamamie crap. I know they say they do, but are they willing to put all they own on the line for it? (or maybe they would prefer her gone and out of their hair?)

Casey is such a cuckoo that I wonder if she could stay way from the limelight for long. If she felt safe in some foreign country, she would probably get on TV or try for a book deal to tell "her side" or the "truth". At minimum, she would pull some stunt and end up back in the headlines for something.

With as much attention as this has recieved there will be folks that will devote their time to finding her. The Casey version of "Nazi Hunters" or "UFO Searchers". There would always be the media seekers spending itme on it. I am sure there are many devoting time on independant searches for Caylee.

Sadly, other than current charges, little has been released to the public to let us know what LE is workin on. Hopefully there is much behind the scenes going on that will make us all very happy and Casey very trapped.

ORLANDO, Fla. --

Dozens attended the latest a series of vigils held for missing Orlando 3-year-old Caylee Anthony at the Anthony's Orlando residence. Casey Anthony, the mother 22-year-old of the missing girl was not present.

The family and bounty hunters who are keeping watch over Casey did not want her to take any chance with her safety by attending the vigil.

Caylee's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, spoke publicly for the first time since their daughter's release from prison. George told the crowd about a missing children's convention which he recently attended in South Florida. He handed out thousands of fliers and hundreds of t-shirts with his missing granddaughter's picture on them.

Cindy spoke about her faith. "I understand why my daughter is so calm. I understand why she is so calm, because I am there with her. I am calm because I get it. I can't do anything about it. She can't do anything about it. I have to trust in God," said Cindy Anthony.

Lee Anthony, Casey's brother, expressed thanks for the bounty hunters who posted Casey's bail.

The day was not without some controversy. Earlier in the day, a band of musicians pulled up in a pickup truck with a flat bed, and began playing a song described as having hateful lyrics about Casey. The band was escorted away by Orange County sheriff's deputies.

Cindy would not say what her daughter has said about Caylee's disappearance since getting out of jail, but the family spokesperson told FOX 35 that Casey has been providing her family and her attorney with lots of information.

I feel bad for the grandparents. I think they're in total denial about what has likely happened. So far, for me the most interesting reading has been the reports from the tow lot operator and a witness who was working there.

Apparently the smell of decomp was present and pretty strong in the car at the tow lot on the morning of the 15th. The car was empty and did have to be gassed up using gas from a can George Anthony had brought.

There were scratches on the trunk (hm) and when George opened the trunk, the smell was strong there - not as strong, the tow owner said, as when a dead guy had spent five days in the car, but still pretty strong and very indicative of human decomposition. There was a pizza in a white trash bag that had flies and maggots in it, along with some papers. Flies exited the trunk when it was opened (ew) and the tow lot owner pitched the bag over the side of the fence.

Later, it appears that the white trash bag was retrieved by CSI. They'll go get anything. Maggots gross me out. I can do almost anything but flies and maggots. Ewwww.

Now, George then drove the car home and then left - I haven't found out where yet in my reading. I had heard work, but then I didn't, so who knows. Regardless, he did not come home until nearly 10:00 p.m. that night.

I think he knew there had been a dead body in that car and he needed to get out of the house.

The whole July 15 timeline is getting really interesting as I read.

I think it says as much (or more) about the state of parenting in some families today than it does about our schools. Look how much Casey's parents indulged her every whim and let her get away with crap all her life--even now, when the truth is staring them right in the face. (Who believes a high school drop-out has a job as an Event Planner at a major company?) My guess is that they also believed she could "do no wrong" at school, either...and woe to any teacher who tried to give their precious daughter anything but good grades. A lot of families are like that--if a teacher tries to correct a child's writing, or grammar, or otherwise actually teach anything, the kid cries to their parents, and the parents complain constantly to the school. And you end up with 20-somethings who sound like complete fools, despite having a lot of resources and advantages in life.

Ok, I now have 3 questions after reading everything in the Anthony case file (only educated people on this case respond please..useless commentary gets on my nerves):

1. What's up with this Kio Cruz chick? She call's a detective and tells him Casey Anthony called her, then she calls back a few hours later and says it's actually Casey Williams not Casey Anthony and that she made a mistake. Kio also stated she didn't know if her husband would allow their cell phone records to be released ( their cell phone records are in his name) during the first phone call, and then she calls the detective back and she tells him it wasn't Casey Anthony it was Casey Williams..and then she states her husband WON'T allow the cell phone records to be released. She then also provides Casey Williams telephone number to the detective which turns out to be disconnected when he called it (although Kio just talked to this Casey Williams in-between calls to the detective). Then Casey's neighbor's (the shovel guy) friend, says this Kio came to his house before she made this phone call...spilling out all the details of Casey's phone call to her (meaning Kio), and how she might have hid the body behind this elementary school in the woods at this special spot she and Casey used to hang out at. Which ultimately leads to a recorded statement, with a detective, that she actually takes to these woods to show him where the spot is. Now she's involving the original story, that it was *in fact* Casey Anthony, NOT Casey Williams, that called her? She also claims Casey Anthony called her from a number that she doesn't remember(tells him some, "407" number)which is not Casey Anthony's number (because Casey Anthony's number is programmed in her phone, and she shows the detective this). This Kio claims she heard a little girl in the background going Mommy, Mommy, and cartoons. This happened in July... (Something not quite right here...?).

This would not be a common mistake by most people, I'm sorry. Stressed or not, we are dealing with a missing child here. This Kio knows Casey, and after a converstation about borrowing a few hundred dollars (that's not little money)..people KNOW who they are talking to. Also, from what I can tell (documented), there hasn't been anyone to talk to this "Casey Williams" as of yet.

2. Also I noticed, on the corresponding email to Casey about this "so called" job that the writing/email sending party used alot of lower case "i" (like this) when they should have been captialized, and I may be mistaken, but isn't it Casey's myspace page where she used alot of lower case i's in her writings? I may be confused with another poster doing this. I have read so much the last few days. Did anyone see where Casey wrote sentences like, "i know Casey is guilty, because i know she lies"? (*Just reference the "I" please* not the sentence itself )Also, seems almost all the emails are made on Yahoo, and the Universal software company (not Universal studios) where you can create any email you want. This was back in April and May, and it makes me wonder about premeditation...

3. I know there has been a mention of Caylee's father, but it didn't check out or wasn't proven one way or the other. Seems that this would really be important to detectives to find out who Caylee's father is. Casey probably doesn't know who the father is, but seems to me there should be a detective assigned to just this part of the case...DNA testing...etc..

And last but not least...I know there is alot that isn't being released...I think Casey accidently killed her daughter by overdose, probably Xanax. Got scared, and has been trying to cover it up ever since.

My husband and I were debating the Andrea Yates case just a couple of nights ago. His opinion was in line with yours. My own personal belief is that she knew it was illegal, but honestly thought that it was right and she was "saving" them. Really, who knows. ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Leonard Padilla, the bounty hunter who helped bail Casey Anthony out of jail, is now questioning his $50,000 decision.

Padilla said his misgivings come after he read investigators documents that show just how often the mother lied to investigators.

Padilla added that Casey hasn't offered him any information as to where the missing 3-year-old is and he's shocked what he read in the documents

“I would not have done it had I known then what I know now,” Padilla said

Aside from thanking the Padilla’s for posting bail, Padilla said Casey has said nothing to him and that he's trying to figure out if she's still lying to her family.

Yep, it's already clear that Casey managed to forward emails to herself, which were made to look like they were forwarded BY herself. If you notice in the copy of one of those forwarded emails, it was forwarded from C.Anthony@events.universal.com ......... that email address, as well as the Franck address, are both FAKE. My opinion on those (today) is that she set those fake emails up in an effort to prove she was working, so that she could further bilk money from her parents. Did you notice how one of the emails (from the H.R. department of 'whatever' company) pertained to a delay in PAY? She probably created that, showed mommy, and got a few bucks.

3. I know there has been a mention of Caylee's father, but it didn't check out or wasn't proven one way or the other. Seems that this would really be important to detectives to find out who Caylee's father is. Casey probably doesn't know who the father is, but seems to me there should be a detective assigned to just this part of the case...DNA testing...etc..
I still don't know why there is concern about the baby daddy, beyond idle curiosity. Any/all evidence about Caylee's disappearance -- which is now obviously a death investigation -- points to the baby mama only. And wow, what a mama she was. UGH!

And last but not least...I know there is alot that isn't being released...I think Casey accidently killed her daughter by overdose, probably Xanax. Got scared, and has been trying to cover it up ever since.

I don't think you missed anything more than anyone else. :biggrin1: The Xanax theory is one. There are many. I hope we find out, but mostly I hope the baby is found so that she can receive a proper burial and the grandparents might have some closure and healing.

I find it especially damning that George Anthony didn't say one word about the smell in the car, even after tow truck guy commented on it. I've read that he had some previous experience in LE (possibly in homicide?). If that is the case, then surely he would know exactly what that smell was. And if he knew what that smell was, he would know exactly what it meant: That Caylee is dead and Casey had done something to her.

So what did he do? Well, he did what any loving grandparent would do. He didn't say one word about the smell - not even to agree with tow truck guy that it smelled "rotten". That reeks of a man who is being extremely cautious not to say anything at all that could in any way incriminate his daughter.

Please try to understand a grandfather (and father) who simply could not and cannot fathom the reality he was hoping to avoid in his family's life -- which is now glaring him in the face. He is to be pitied, imo.

my opinion on the Chloro is that either 1) Casey was using it to "put her kid to sleep" so she could party and OOPS gave her too much one night partying.. Then AFTER being arrested fessed up to her parents what REALLY happened, and her parents in turn went home and got on the computer to look up what the substance is.. or 2)Caylee died some other way, was left in the trunk and AFTER the arrest, mom Cindy knew how to get the "stain" out of the trunk to save her daughters ass, because being a nurse she has access to the chemical at the hospital and she looked up online how to use it so that she didn't kill herself inhaling it. OR 3)Casey was smart enough to do all of that herself, which I highly doubt. I do not think that she is the mastermind in this coverup.. I think it is clear when her parents became aware of the truth, the night they left the jail and wouldn't talk to reporters (for the first time) and seemed VERY upset.. then they went home and did their job by cleaning the car or whatever (if this was before the car was impounded. Interesting thinking, I like that. I would think that DFCS could petition the courts to make Caylee a ward of the state without there being any need to file charges. Simply having an investigation open should give them that ability since Casevil can not demonstrate that she can care for the child.

I don't think that would prevent anyone (other than Casevil) from "selling their story" and profiting from her death. Casevil's family can sell "their story" regardless of what happens to Casevil.

She has been sucked into the vortex of one of the most highly-charged, controversial, missing child's case the nation has ever seen, and for Zenaida, it all started with her name.


"When she said Zenaida Gonzalez it turned my life around. It turned into a point where I wished I wasn’t Zenaida Gonzalez. I wish my name was something else because it made my life that impossible," Gonzalez said.


"I never thought my life would be like this. Never in a million years," Gonzalez said.


For Gonzalez, the damage was done. She said she lost her job managing a cleaning crew. Her boss told her they couldn't let one name bring a company down.

Gonzalez said she is afraid for her family's safety. She gets hate mail daily for Zanny the nanny -- that's why she asked not to show her face on camera.

"She doesn’t know how much damage she has done. Not only to me, that she has done to them, my children. They came out of me. I raised them by myself and now she is hurting them more than me," Gonzalez said.

Gonzalez is not sure how this will end -- or if it ever will.

Late Wednesday night, protesters took their invasion to a new low, launching coins and rocks at the Anthonys' windows and then trespassing to bang on the door.

As her parents walked outside with a bat, Cindy Anthony and Casey Anthony both called 911 with obvious concern about the physical danger (listen to calls).

"I don't know if there's weapons. I know that my father is outside and so is my mother. So please send as many people as you possibly can," Casey told the dispatcher.

One female protester tried encouraging a fight by pulling George Antony by his shirt. The protesters admit to taunting and provoking the family in the middle of the night.

"I think it's starting to work. He said for himself it's breaking his family apart. So hopefully it breaks them all down," protester Miriah Bounds told Eyewitness News.

Late Thursday morning, George Anthony released the following statement to Eyewitness News asking for help identifying the protesters: "Community Help: September 18, 2008 -- The Anthony Family asks all Central Florida residents and Friends to help identify all person(s) involved in the incidents that occurred in the early Morning hours of Sept. 18, 2008. Please contact The Orange County Sheriff Dept., the local FBI office, the Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, also call my personal Cell # 407-403-3564 with this info. I appreciate your Help. The person(s) involved will be arrested And prosecuted to the fullest extent Of Florida Law. -- George Anthony" (see statement)

Sheriff's deputies said they're doing all the law allows to keep neighbors safe and to give protestors their constitutional rights.

"All we can do is enforce the law. And I can tell you our folks are frustrated. I can tell you our folks are very, very concerned about the security and safety of that neighborhood," said Jim Solomons, Orange County Sheriff's Office.

The attorney for the homeowners' association thinks much of the blame goes to the protesters themselves.

"It just shows me that these protestors are not out here for First Amendment rights. They're just here to cause a confrontation," HOA attorney Karen Wonsetler told Eyewitness News.




I know all of us look at this story and wonder how Casey Anthony's parents are still standing by her but, at the end of the day it is still there daughter. I know myself, I have three children of my own and if anything like this ever happened I would probably have to say I would say, that my child could never do this. Anyways these protestors are terrible. I mean if Casey lived alone and these people were doing this I would say that BITCH deserves it, but her family?
