LAKE FOREST -- A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a 9 year old boy who police say was abducted by his father after a shooting in Lake Forest.
Police say Ryan's father, 46 year old Lonnie Ramos, shot at his estranged wife's vehicle outside of 19662 Torres Way around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, critically wounding the woman and then fled with the boy.

The two were scheduled to meet so that Ramos could return Ryan to his mother in a custody exchange.
"As the victim drove up to the address, the suspect either jumped out from bushes or from behind the car, opened fire on the victim's vehicle, striking the victim at least one time in the upper torso," Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesman Jim Amormino said.
A friend of the woman and the friend's 4-year-old daughter were also in the car at the time of the shooting but were not hurt, he added.
The 41-year-old victim then drove off and went to a location where her friend took over the driving, he said.
They drove to a shopping center roughly two miles away on Portola Parkway in the Foothill Ranch area of Lake Forest and then called for help, Amormino said.
The woman was transported to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center where she was listed in critical condition. She was expected to survive.
Ramos is described as a white, male, 6'3" tall and 180 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a tan baseball cap, blue shirt and khaki pants.
Police believe he could be driving one of three vehicles: a white 2004 Chevy Suburban, California license number 5LTC712, a red Porsche convertible with a black top and California license plate number 4BWU827 and a 2005 Fleetwood Providence recreation vehicle with California plate number 5EGW556.
Anyone who spots either vehicle or the child is urged to call the Orange County Sheriff's Department at (714) 628-7170.
