Hearing a lot about Paul Naschy, Vengeance of the Zombies felt like a good place to start checking out his films. Zombies. Vengeance. Beautiful. Maybe not. Naschy’s career spans almost 50 years, and he’s well known amongst the Spanish horror crowd. The driving force behind seeing this film, was the special release of Vengeance of the Zombies and The Night of the Werewolf, both starring Paul Naschy. Vengeance is a decent addition to any zombie fan’s collection, not quite on par with the bigger zombie films, but far from the worst.

Ah, for these kind of films, I usually expect crappy video footage. So, that won't be a factor.

I've heard of that one too. Dammit! :becky:

I went and gave it a lookse to remember wich Brentwood pack I had it in, It turns out its a really good one called Horror Rises From the Grave.

It has Fulci's House by the Cementery wich if I remember correctly was in widescreen format(From a video tape source but still), first one of the Zombie Flesh Eaters series, Nigth of The Ghoul With Peter Cushing and John Hurt... not a bad pack to get if you find it around.

BCI released Horror Rises from the Tomb in a special edition, the same style as Vengeance of the Zombies. I have it, the print is great. Haven't watched it yet myself.

Rojo Sangre is pretty damn good, it's a nice throwback to Naschy's hey-day.

Nice!! Glad you got them, as I wasn't certain that 3 stamps would be enough to send it. I missed the post office on Friday, as I thought they were open until 6, but it was 4
