LINCOLNTON, N.C. -- A Lincolnton Rescue Squad member faces charges for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old girl.

Noel Morrison, 37, is charged with attempted statutory sex offense, solicitation of statutory sex offense and four counts of indecent liberties with a child.
Morrison was arrested on Thursday after the 14-year-old's parents notified authorities.
According to the Lincolnton Police Department, the alleged activities happened over a six to seven week period at the Lincolnton Rescue Squad facility.
At the time, Morrison was a lieutenant with squad and controlled the Junior Rescue Squad.
Morrison remains in jail on a $100,000 bond.
