View Full Version : Man trades beads for boobies at the Billy Bowlegs Festival, wife kicks his ass.

FORT WALTON BEACH - One Billy Bowlegs reveler who passed out beads in exchange for bared breasts angered his wife and got beaten for it.

The 33-year-old Fort Walton Beach wife is charged with misdemeanor domestic battery, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

A deputy said he got a call about the incident Saturday and followed the couple's truck to their home on Schneider Drive, where the man had a fingernail-shaped laceration on his cheek and a dark circle under his right eye.

His wife had been "irate" after he began "giving females beads for exposing their breasts at the Billy Bowlegs Festival," the deputy wrote, and she beat him as soon as they arrived back at the dock. Then she hit him in the truck on the way home.

She admitted to the beating and said the incident was her fault, according to the report.

I think this couple needs to quit going to the Billy Bowlegs festival.

The lady's name is Melissa Thompson.

The husband's name is Deriek Thompson. Guess what? He was arrested on the same charge last year at the Billy Bowlegs festival. He just got off probation on 02/28/08.

I tried finding pictures for these folks but have had no luck yet.

She's insecure. Thinks hubby will run off with someone else's boobies. Who wants a guy that jumps ship just to chase boobs? Maybe she's jealous of other women's boobies?

For domestic battery? I somehow suspect the charges had more to do with beads-for-boobies, in which case the reason his Missus got upset with him might be that she was mortified that he'd done it the year before and did not want to spend another year with him under probation.

She knows she overreacted.
