David Belniak had drugs in his system and never braked when he slammed into the back of a family's car stopped at a red light on Christmas Day 2007. Three people died.
In August, Belniak pleaded guilty to three counts of DUI manslaughter and was sentenced to 12 years in prison. He never said a word in court, not even when the victims' children begged him for an apology.
But he is voicing his opinion now.
He's saying he's not responsible for the crash.
And he wants to be paid for his suffering.
Last month, Belniak's attorney filed a lawsuit against the now-deceased driver of the other car, alleging the crash was the victim's fault. Attorney Debra A. Tuomey, who is also Belniak's sister, said the Florida Highway Patrol's investigation of the case was a "government sanctioned assassination against one individual."

Seems the sister's as big a monster cunt as he's a murdering asshole scum bag pig
this whole family should be taken out of the gene pool
If the world was just, some huge law-firm would pick up the innocent victims case for free and drive the scum bag and his sister
six feet under

A government sanctioned assassination? Really? Shouldn't a lawyer have a large enough vocabulary to understand the meaning and usage of the term "assassination"?

Uhm....wha...how...huh....My brain hurts.
If he already plead guilty, can he turn around and say "Just playin'! It was the dead guy's fault I killed him, if he hadn't been in my way he'd be alive, oh woe is me!"?
I mean, I guess he technically could (and did) but there's no way that can (or should) hold up in court....

The issue I have is allowing it to go to court
If you go to court, you'd better have a lawyer, lawyers cost money, I doubt this piece of shit has money
good luck recovering the money you spent unjustly defending yourself
The sister should not be allowed to charge the state for her time spent trying to fuck these people over
just because her brother has no money, no balls and a cunt for a sister

Agreed, the sister, and her douchebag brother/client should also be responsible for ALL costs associated with the trial. The judge's pay, the fees of any and all other lawyers involved, the wages lost for every jury member, and pain & suffering to the decedents' family should this pair of asses lose.
In fact I believe this should apply to ALL frivolous lawsuits. Perhaps less assholes would waste legal system resources should they be at risk of being the only one wasting their money.

The government in florida is not smart enough to orchestrate that kind of assassination.
