at the bottom of the main forum page is the What's going On? box there is a a bunch of stats on users on line etc I'm just wondering what the difference between user names in bold and user names not in bold, and some bolded user names have a * and some with a +, some have neither

People with bold names have a bold membership. Your friends will have the + symbol next to their names. The * is next to your own name right?

Thanks I'd wondered some of those same things, but was too chicken to ask! LOL

The bold names have paid the $20 bucks to be a card carrying gen-you-wine DD members, the rest of us get by on our looks!!! LOL (which means in my case I don't get too far!)

That's it exactly.

Bold membership gets you some perks, including the ability to run silent, as it were. And nobody except you (and possibly the mods and admins) can see that you're on-line if you've chosen not to display the information that you are on-line. Or even when you went off-line for that matter.
