I noticed that when trying to leave a message on someone's profile, it fails unless I click the "Go Advanced" button first.

I get "Beach balled"/"Hour Glassed"/"Blue Ring Thinged" and the buck stops there but I can nav away.

Wierd. I tried it on a bunch of different profiles before posting and it worked fine. Try clearing your cache. maybe some old code is mothballed in there.

Put something on my profile without clicking "Go Advanced" baby. Make it something naughty.

I'm seeing a similar issue just posting in threads. Using the quick reply to post and clicking post reply tries to take me away from the page.

I can't post on profiles either. It is annoying.

Just click on "Leave" (or whatever message your system says). It will post as usual.

It's some bug in the software and is being looked at. Right, Morbid?

I did have to send him a PM yesterday instead of just poking him on his own page. :(

Try it again - maybe on my profile, so as to to excite biteme too much. After you click "Post Message", click it a second time.

So now I know that particular issue is not just my computer! I always get asked if I am sure I want to "leave this page" when I'm trying to post something. I just choose to "leave this page" and it posts "normally" at that point.

*Normal is what you are until other people get to know you*

ETA not this time! UGH! I hate this computer!

I've been having that problem with posting messages on profiles. It seems more like the first "save" doesn't take somehow. After a few few moments, I hit "save" again and it works. Haven't had it with private messages but that would probably be because I haven't done that since the upgrade. Still getting "leave the page" when posting on forum threads, too.

I've also had the same problem. I usually have to try a couple of times before a message on a profile will work.

You may not be getting Whisper's greetings for one of two reasons:

A) She gave up on you because you are a <insert naughty word here>
or
B) See this thread and adjust your privacy settings accordingly: http://www.dreamindemon.com/forums/showthread.php?51651-Missing-Visitor-Message-Tab

Mybabiesmomma has to change her's too.

Its funny because I skipped the one sunday he was home and put a 1 big one in So and So and in Chit Chat
but some missed it and I had 4/5 people PM me and some sent just messages asking if they did something wrong lol
I just didnt want to spend the whole time he was home on computer that day

My VM seem to be going o.k. just the first try of clicking it on my chrome circles and I hit it again and it goes through. Much like posting in a thread where you reply, but then have to confirm to leave the page.

Weird, I was able to give you one VM, but then tried it again and I was not able to.

This is a known problem. You will have to click twice until the software people get around to fixing it. Not much else we can do until then. Cussing at it doesn't help... take my word on that. Neither does throwing coffee at the screen.

Doesn't bother me at all. It does seem though all things go a little slower than before. Like posting a thanks takes longer to show up or a post takes longer after submitting it. Not much though.
