This is almost 10 months ago but way to cute not to share when I came across it today
Soldiers are supposed to be tough as nails, but we all would like to believe that there is a soft and tender heart within the tough exterior.
Nothing could have shown that better than these pictures. It seems the U.S. Marines found two abandoned kittens in Afghanistan and they not only adopted them and gave them dollops of love, they also brought them back to America with them and gave them a new home.
And, just look at these pictures- it is not very often that one gets to see the tenderhearted sides of these tough men in arms.
It looks like the kittens were loved not just by one or two of the Marines, but the entire platoon. They are seen with different soldiers in different settings. They are being carried, cuddled, kissed and loved.
