OMAHA (KPTM) - The Omaha Police Department says it has arrested a man for groping a 10-year-old and 12-year-old girl.
26-year-old Jason Putney was arrested for sexual assault of a child in connection with two incidents that happened at an area Wal-Mart and Super Target.
Police say the 10-year-old says she was groped at the Wal-Mart near 132nd and L Street. The 12-year-old victim was groped at the Super Target near 180th and West Center Rd.
Putney was booked on 2 counts of 3rd degree sexual assault of a child.
Putney is currently under indictment in federal court for three charges of receiving and distribution of child pornography. Putney was indicted on April 24th. Court records show that Putney filed to have one of those charges dismissed, and sent a personal letter to ask the charge be dismissed on Monday.
