Vineland police search for teen wanted on sexual assault charges

VINELAND, N.J. -- Vineland police are seeking an 18-year-old Mercury Way man charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old on May 31.
Christopher Saunders, who was involved in an attempted homicide and weapons possession case on April 18 and was previously arrested, should be considered armed and dangerous, according to statement released Monday by the Vineland Police Department.
Saunders allegedly forced the teenager to have sex with him at a house party in Vineand.
The victim contacted police at 4:19 a.m. on May 31 and described the incident.
Saunders is a black male, 6 feet tall and 150 pounds.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest for sexual assault and his bail is set at $200,000 cash.
