15 Y.O. Samantha McIntosh Missing from Ottawa,Ontario

A 15-year-old Ottawa girl has been missing since Tuesday morning.
Ottawa Police are asking for the public’s help in finding Samantha McIntosh, who hasn’t been seen since she was dropped off at her west-end high school around 8:30 a.m. March 22.
She did not attend classes and was reported missing the same day. She has run away before but never for this long.
She’s described as being 5-foot-2, about 150 pounds, with a medium complexion, short dirty-blonde hair and blue eyes.
When last seen she was wearing a white top, grey fitting pants, a blue zip-up sweater and black winter boots.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Youth Intervention and Diversion Section at 613-236-1222, ext. 5355 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (TIPS).

(Ottawa)—On Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at approximately 8:30am, Samantha McIntosh, 15 years of age, was dropped off at her West End High School. She did not attend classes and was reported missing the same day. She has run away before, but the length of time on this occasion is beyond her usual pattern raising concern for her safety.

Her description is as follows (see picture):

* white female, 157cm (5’2”), 150lbs, medium build;
* medium complexion, short dirty blonde hair, blue eyes;
* wearing white top, grey fitting pants, blue zip-up sweater and black winter boots

They seem to be going with the runaway theory here, but still concerned for safety due to length of disappearance. I hope she has just run away and will contact her family soon or go home.

I am glad she didn't meet a tragic end. What ever is going on in this teen's life needs to be addressed before this happens again and she may not be as lucky as she was now
