AMHERST, Va. -- A woman turned a few heads when she walked into a rural Virginia courthouse with a tiny monkey clad in a pink-and-white dress tucked in her bra.

The woman brought the palm-sized marmoset to Amherst County Courthouse on Thursday for a hearing in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. Officials apparently didn't notice the monkey until the woman went to an office to complete some paperwork.

but why would you even want to bring it to court? Could you see Judge Belvin Perry face if it was brought into the Casey courtroom? They'd bugg out more than they already do!

Some women really go to the extreme to bring attention to their cleavage, probably goes around telling her friends how men always stare at her tits

From the original link:

In an interview with The News & Advance of Lynchburg, the woman says the marmoset is 7 weeks old and requires constant attention.

Sounds like she was bein a good mommy. But maybe she should have gotten a monkeysitter.. I wish she were in my jurisdiction- I have to go to court Friday lol

Do not leave him alone because it is frightening for him.
They rely so heavily on their parent for protection
It is completely unnatural for them. In the wild at this age they are constantly with their family

I'd really like to know why she was in "Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court" in the first place.

was she being a good mommy to her monkey but not her real children or something?

hope not...

And people think I'm weird when I take one of my parrots out for walks with my kids AND she's on a leash.......

Here in Virginia, that particular court is where you go if your kids get in trouble, if you need a restraining order, custody/visitation disputes, and yes also where you go if you are a 'bad' parent. Hell, I'll be there on Friday, because I have a thick-headed teenager--sans Monkey.
