It's really gross.

Basically, this guy was driving his bass-fishin' boat and was going too fast when he missed a curve in the waterway and was ejected, landing on what appears to be a fencepost.

Nurseronda sent it to me, and DAYAMN. You'll have to click for the pic, I'm not showing it to you here. :D

Do you guys know how annoying this guy must be about this injury? He must carry this picture around with him, and every time someone talks about their worst injury, or complains about a splinter, this buttplug has to whip out the old photo and one-up everybody.

According to Snopes, it is "undetermined"

Back in 2004 an informant told us that the photograph originated in the trauma bay of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences' (UAMS) emergency room. According to this source, the patient shown in the photo crashed his truck through a fence, causing a large fence post to come through part of the truck's engine and firewall before catching on spring wire in the back of the front seat, impaling the driver in the process. The patient was reportedly treated in the operating room but died a few days later of infection. We have not been able to independently verify these details, however.

I don't care if it's undetermined or not. I love the idea of some redneck asshole cranking his overpowered bass boat up, thinking he's in his fucking Dodge Ram on a 4-lane highway and can make this turn just fine, and winding up with a fence post and his 48x32 Wranglers shoved up his ass!

These bass boats, ya'll! It's like buying a Porsche for grocery store runs!
