The Showtime (http://www.sho.com/) original series, Dexter (http://www.sho.com/site/dexter/home.do), based on Jeff Lindsay's novels Darkly Dreaming Dexter (http://www.amazon.com/Darkly-Dreaming-Dexter-Jeff-Lindsay/dp/038551123X) and Dearly Devoted Dexter (http://www.amazon.com/Dearly-Devoted-Dexter-Jeff-Lindsay/dp/1400095921/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-9813907-4572661?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1177355971&sr=1-1) is back for a second season. The show revolves around Dexter a man who is employed by the Miami Dade Police force as a blood spatter expert. He is also an active serial killer who chooses his victims by a code instilled in him by his foster father.

Since I am currently attempting to get some of the threads back from the old forum, I figured I owed it to one of the best shows on television to get a new thread created. Especially since it will be back for Season 2 at the end of September, PLUS the Season 1 DVD is rumored to be out before then.

Also, The TV Addict (http://thetvaddict.com/2007/03/08/2007-paley-festival-recap-dexter/) has posted a recap of the Dexter panel discussion held last Wednesday at the Museum of Television and Radio's annual William S. Paley Festival (http://www.mtr.org/festivals/paleyfest2007/index.htm#niptuck). Click the link to read the entire article, but some of the interesting things reported in regards to Season 2 were that Dexter's father may not be a good guy and that Masuka will now be a part of the regular cast.

I haven't seen any of the show but I will soon as I will be getting it on DVD for free from my Cable company for re-ordering Showtime. It looks pretty good but I neglected to watch it for some reason.
