A man who bought a foreclosed Florida home may have found the former owner's body when he discovered a corpse in the garage.

Brevard County Sheriff's Major Andrew Walters said the man went to the home in Cape Canaveral on Thursday. That's when he found the remains inside a car in the garage.

Walters said it's unclear how long the body had been there, or how the person died. An autopsy is underway.

The neighbors basically said the former owner had "disappeared" a while ago..I myself would rather get the generic bottle of wine as a house warming gift but that's just me...

I feel bad for the former owner. He had nobody worried enough about him to even go out to his house and peak into the garage. My aunt died alone in her home and the whole family felt guilty that it was three days before anybody stopped by to check in on her.

And omg it would creep me out to find a dead body in the house I was going to have to live in.

Mommyof2 they found the woman in her garage, in her car I kind of think more and more that it seems like suicide. How sad. But when facing losing her house so many things else going wrong in her life I could see how someone would give up.
