A Sheboygan woman has been charged with child abuse for allegedly biting her 14-year-old daughter when the girl tried to restrain her.
Police say Jamie S. Arens, 45, was drunk and screaming at her boyfriend when the girl put her arms around Arens. The woman then bit her on the shoulder, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday.
Arens could face up to four years in prison on counts of felony physical abuse of a child and misdemeanor disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
The resisting charge was filed because Arens tried to kick police when they responded to the incident, and told one officer, "You should die," the complaint said.
