Aside from Cops, Twin Peaks and Married with Children, there was another extremely popular show I was enthralled with back in the ’90s. Yes, I am an X-Files fan. I loved the show, even if it was hit-or-miss, but I started losing interest after the first movie that was made, The X-Files: Fight the Future, which was about 5 years after the show debut. The television series ended in 2002. Well, 6 years later and 10 years after the first film, we get a sequel titled X-Files: I Want To Believe.

Not real sure how I feel about it personally. I am neither excited or dismayed as it has been awhile since these two have been together and let’s face it, the show really kinda sucked in it’s last few seasons. Check out the trailer for the film after the jump.

I liked it the few first seasons(I want to say 3 but Im not sure), then I lost interest. Ive never even seen the first film or the least seasons.

Could care less about this film.

First thought? "They killed the Lone Gunmen, and the bitch gave her baby away. Fuck 'em."

If I can get over the bad taste the end of the series left in my mouth, maybe I'll return later with a more intelligent entry.

Duchovny looks like shit.

I think they fucked up the series when they started getting into soap opera mode. I was a HUGE fan. Wouldn't miss it for anything...until then. Once the episodes stopped having a conclusion, I got disgusted and bored. I felt almost betrayed. Weird huh?

I never saw the first movie. I don't think I'll watch this one either.

One of the top 3 all-time greatest shows. I like/love all the seasons with4 & 5 being the show's pinnacle. Definitely amped for this especially considering it seems to be a stand-alone monster film. (those were my favorite type episodes)
