Ignore this fucking warning! Firefox users may be seeing this. maybe others (I dunno). Google is basing this warning on information that comes from the ads on the top of the site, NOTHING on D'D is harmful to your system... the computer one, anyway. A few of the stories may upset your human systems but are not harmful otherwise. Rest assured that Morbid has been informed and is working to solve the issue.

I got the warning once which I knew was bullshit.
Closed out page, reopened it. No warning since.

Google says DD is okay.

On a side note, I did indeed have a banner ad drop a Java (.jar) file on me. I did not like.

I use ESET, which is amazing for killing Trojans and others. I signed it tonight and ESET went off like crazy telling me I had been compromised.
How the hell did my computer know what I did last night :lollypop:?
Seriously though, one of the adds, or something, on the home page set it off and it killed all of the connections. I had to close and re-open...then everything was fine.

Morbid was having some connection issues when I talked with him earlier this evening, so he couldn't get to it right away. Everything should be cool at some point tomorrow morning. :birthday:

I have been getting it left and right, just keep clicking ignore. I have never had a problem here and I know if there ever was a compromise on the site we would be warned.

Had this problem weeks back then it was gone, but now back with a vengeance. Firefox is a bust. Even when I tell it YES, i want to go into the site, demon of hell, it doesn't hold. Every time I click on a link the warning comes back.
Google Chrome is FAR better. It gives me two warning and when I tell it yes, thank you i've been warned it leaves me alone. IF i get out of dd then come back it will prompt be again tho.
Hubs said its a warning I should stay out the site, (kidding of course), I said nice try :)

I got frustrated with how slow Internet Explorer is and don't like Chrome's data collection policies.
Thanks to TMS (via erac), I turned off the option in Firefox that warns me about attack sites.
Tools > Options > Security > Uncheck "Block Reported Attack Sites"
I've never had the warning on any other site but will turn the option back on when this situation is resolved... just in case.

You can turn off the data collection in Chrome, DV.

Yes but can you customize it to block adds from appearing on pages, minimize to the system tray, aggregate a news feed to the side bar (does it have a sidebar?), integrate with your Facebook, debug javascript, and a zillion other customizations I rely on? LOL

Sigh. So either my computer hates me or I am just dumb cause nothing works and i am on IE yet again. Bad enough the screen on my laptop broke so i am on the old desktop but now even though i turned off the warning sometimes it says "link broke" or some such crap. Ugh.
Hope it gets fixed.

Me too. It appeared yesterday and I freaked out and closed the page.

Did you turn off warning in the settings?
In FF, go to: Tools > Options > Security tab > Make sure there is NOT a check beside "Block Reported Attack Sites" and click "OK"

You are going to keep getting it until Google decides to clear us. Which they have not done yet. Which sucks ass.

It was an easy fix on Firefox. For those who you firefox. Go to Tools; click on options, click security and uncheck "report attack pages". Then click on "Okay". Someone on facebook helped me and it worked. Soon as the problem is fixed, I will re check "report attack sites".

Today, it's letting me on the site without the warning however my screen keeps flashing like it's re-loading the page over and over again. makes me think there is a funky Ad on the site causing it to ape shit.
It's making feel like I'm gonna have a epileptic fit any minute now :-)

I lost my shit yesterday when I couldn't get in. I clicked ignore this warning but was so worried I was going to get trouble at work for it. I knew it was bullshit too :lollypop:

I get it on Google so I just changed to BING and have no problem at all. I knew it was bullshit because even though I had not been on this site quite a month yet I had never had a problem and my anti-virus never flagged anything from this site.
MORBID - you are the shit man. I lov-ed you so much.:secruity:

Morbid is any one else having issues with the front page?
Earlier this week I couldn't get updated front page. Now I cant view the comments on the front page.
These problems are exacerbating my addiction to DD. :lollypop:

I did have that problem today. The comments wouldn't load and when I would try to re-load the whole page I'd get nothing.
Also Nell's new avatar is making me question my sexuality
