A man was hospitalized early Friday with burns to the lower half of his body after someone apparently tried to set him on fire, WTVJ-Ch. 6 reported.
According to the station, the incident happened about 1 a.m. at a park along the 11000 block of 19th Drive.
The unidentified man was transported to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami with burns to his legs and feet, the station reported.
First responders told WTVJ it appeared that someone tried to set the man ablaze.
