I am a bit ashamed to admit that I have not read anything from this author, yet everything she has written seems to have received great reviews. She also deals in subject matter I like, so on one hand I hate that I missed her and on the other I have some new books to read.

Here is some general info I have gathered for those interested in the author whose book you may be reading.

I've read all of her work with the exception of Pale Immortal...but I plan to eventually read it. Well, at least her popular work, as listed ^.

Play Dead is my favourite of hers, followed by Sleep Tight and then Hush. I didn't really enjoy Before I Wake however it's still a decent read...interesting concept yet slow at times (wakes up from a coma, was a guinea pig for a memory experiment etc.).

Just wanted to mention that Anne Fasier has mentioned this thread on her Myspace Blog linked above. Be sure to check out her sites and stuff.

just started play dead yesterday, with one problem, my wife just started it also. at the very least all i can say so far is that it is one of the rare books that both of us seem to agree on so far, and that is NO SMALL FEAT! by weeks end i should have it finished up though since school is out for me till august. also, i used to be stationed at Ft. Stewart, which is party distance drive to Savannah (20 minutes maybe), so i hope it will bring me back to that place. its an awesome city.

When I was in high school I ran away from home and lived on the street for about a week. Heroin was big then, and I watched people shoot up but I never did any of it myself. I knew a guy who used to shoot up Kool-Aid when he ran out of heroin. Just for the rush, he would say.

Oh dear God, that's horrible! It'd be interesting to read about...ever thought about writing a Gonzo-type novel, Anne?

Secondly, from the pic Killroy posted; you look totally different from the pic in Play Dead. Why the change? Old photo? lol...Just my curiousity.
