It's been 6 years since R Kelly peed on some really underaged girl. The trial has been delayed for a number of strange reasons, including his appendectomy, a judges broken bones, the DA having a baby, etc. The alleged victim is now 23 years old and denies being a part of the infamous video. The defense plans to call a woman who will supposedly testify to a threesome with Kelly and the victim. The judge in the case has closed pre-trial hearings and will not release transcripts, a move that isn't particularly common.
Assuming Kelly actually goes to trial, he could face up to 15 years in prison. But, let's be real. It seems as though he's already been treated rather well by our justice system...
Do you think this'll be just one more celebrity who is slapped on the wrist, this time, for particularly depraved behavior?
