A little late in getting this posted, but for those of you who did not make it to Iron Man and catch the new trailer for The Dark Knight, and did not feel like watching the asstastic bootleg trailer that made the rounds, you can now check it out after the jump.

When this preview first came on, and they flashed a pic of Joker, my wife leaned over and whispered that nobody but Jack could be the Joker. After the trailer, she was a convert. I really can't wait to see this performance, and think the loss of Heath is one of the great tragedies of cinematic history. I feel like he would have had a career that we can hardly imagine. I rank it up there with Hendrix and Cobain (and if that sounds like hyperbole, I really don't think it is. The only reason we can't grasp the loss is because we can't see what would have been. I think Heath was going to be what Depp could have been had he not been so self-absorbed)

I got fanboy shivers and I'm not even a fanboy.

Besides the Cobain part I wholeheartedly agree with you. I think his range as an actor was limitless.
