TICONDEROGA, N.Y (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37029710/ns/local_news-plattsburghburlington_nyvt/).

A Ticonderoga boy is being called a hero after dialing 911 and saving his mother's life -- for a second time.

Two years ago, the toddler called 911 after his mother got sick and lost consciousness. It was something Tammy Cole had taught her son, Dakota, early on. Cole, who's a diabetic, said Dakota saved her life for a second time this week at her home in Ticonderoga after she again lost consciousness.

[...]
Her blood sugar had plummeted and she quickly blacked out. Four-year-old Dakota knew exactly what to do. He called 911, again.

[...]
Cole remembers waking up in an ambulance, but not much else.

"If your glucose levels drop below a certain point, it can put you in a coma you could die from it," said Cole, which is why Cole feels like her son is her savior a second time around.

The first time Dakota saved his mother, he was just a toddler. He called 911 after Cole blacked out and fell on top of her 1-year-old son, Dakota's younger brother, pinning him down.

Mom should have had a big spoonful of those potatoes immediately upon feeling symptoms, would have spiked her sugar up fast!
She's blessed to have little Dakota taking care of her.
