ORT PIERCE — Police arrested a 19-year-old woman Sunday after finding her 1-year-old son living in a home littered with filth, dirty diapers, decaying food and other items, according to reports released Monday.

The home of Mary E. Fasnacht in the 800 block of Revels Lane had no running water and smelled of human waste. She faces a child neglect charge.

“This home was not fit for a human residence,” an arrest affidavit states. “No child could remain healthy in this home and with the numerous biohazards the child was at risk of future great harm.”

An officer was dispatched at 10:48 a.m. to the residence and met a state Department of Children and Families case worker, who said a complaint was reported that a 1-year-old child was being neglected by his mother at the home.

“By the level of filth and smell coming from the home, it appeared from outside of the home, to be a dangerous environment for humans to reside in,” the affidavit states.

Police reported every room in the two-bedroom house was “filthy,” brimming with dirt, garbage, dirty diapers, decaying food and other items. A 1-year-old boy was in a crib in the living room.

“The toilet bowl was filled with human feces and female hygiene products and was in reach of the child,” the report states. “There were dried/evaporated stains in the living room that were still moist and sticky and attracted dirt to make a filth paste.”

At least it isn't as bad as the house full of Chihuahuas.

HEY! Who took pictures inside my house?

Oh, wait, I don't have a range hood. Sorry, my bad.

Did she not have running water?

Because come on. That house wasn't BEYOND help. she'd really have to be lazy and neglectful to just sit around and let it get like that.

HOWEVER, I would like to thank whoever is in charge for not publishing photos of the toilet. :beurk:

I'm telling you, this house is actually BETTER looking than the one I described in the chihuahua thread. People do live like this.

Is this the toilet or the sink? Notice what appears to be a Mickey Mouse toothbrush off to the side. MMMMMM! Extra flavor

Yucky but still not as bad as the one I had to live with! Her sink looked like that every day. Show me some pictures of moldy cat and dog feces behind the furniture and this woman will win. :D

What's that floating in the sink there? Cereal?

That would be good for a snack. Don't even have to add milk.

She is thinking, " I'm a nasty ass ho who would rather laze around and spread my legs than flush my toilet or pick up." Most of the people I know who live like this had parents that did. And they honestly don't think it is that big of a deal. They usually don't shower real frequently either.

I shouldn't have tacos for lunch.

There was a woman who befriend me at work. She inivited me to her moblie home. When I get there, that pictures looked excaulty same in her moblie home! She have no children, thank god. She was so clean, smelled good, and wearing nice clothes. I was very surprised to see her home like this. I realized that no matter what kind of people....nasty ass ho, clean, poor, rich or sane people actually live this way. (I am not refering to y'all....I'm refering to people out there)

That is pure laziness!!! Damn, woman! Pick up the vaccum, that will do you good!

And she probably didn't think it was that big of a deal to have a nasty house, did she? I personally cannott stand filth, but I also bathe twice a day, and I do the same with my kids. I work at McDonalds, so you know I'm not rollin in the dough, but that is no exscuse for piggish laziness.

I think that there is more to this story. It looks like there was another child living there also from the bedroom pictures. It almost looks like a roommate moved out.

The living room where the crib was looked better than the bedroom. I think she is a broke 19yo whose roommate moved out and shut off the water. No reason to live like a slob but maybe she didn't feel like cleaning the ex roomie's rooms.

I remember when my son was newborn....my husband got lay off at work. I couldn't find work. The water was cut off. We had to go to place where the truck drivers stop to eat, sleep and shower. We went there to get shower, clean ourselves up. Man, what a memory.

I lived in my van for 2 months last year, while I worked full time. My boyfriend and I went to the park and truck stop restrooms to shower and wash up too. It sucked majorly, but I lived and I stayed clean.

Well she is no stranger to the eviction process or to being a petty thief. It looks like her parents and relatives have been through the eviction and criminal process many times.

Wow ... and I freak out on my kids and husband if last nights dinner dishes are still in the sink the next morning (a pet pev of mine). Or shit hits the fan around here if chores haven't been done. Damn this is disgusting...
